Since I'm in the market for a cheap one, items like this that are available to everyone end a bit higher. A few months back yes you could find one for about $150 but not today.. Let's hope that changes in the fall..

It's official: people are crazy! This item managed to fetch $177 (!!!!!) cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130560373126&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT"The display, controls and sound are fully working" - Yeah, only 100 lcds or so are missing and the game was burried in this guy's back yard for about 20 years but other than that it must play beautufilly! I couldn't sell some of my very good sealed blisterpack games for that price for crying out loud!!! Michael

Well, Aris has made a huge effort collecting various serial numbers from games and has created a database than can more or less tell us if a serial number belongs to a certain game or not. So, experienced collectors would probably find out about a misplaced serial number sticker and you'd be frowned upon if you ever decided to sell a game with one on it. An item is collectible only if it's complete with its original parts. This guy is obviously no game&watch collector otherwise he would understand what I'm saying and would never remove those stickers..
From what I can gather this guy is asking a lot for this.. junk and I'd pass on the offer..

Wow! Why would he do that? Anyway, I suggest you get what you need right now and not everything unless he can make you a good deal. What are you looking for?

You can end the auction early at any time.. Yes, you have to choose a reason but that means nothing and there's no penalty or something.. Most people that end buying these rare items nowadays are looking to resell them and don't really care about collecting them..

There's no way you can fix lcd bleeding. The reason is that the liquid has spread (leaked) beyond the sprite areas and there's just no way to put it back..

Well as far as I know sunlight can't change blue color to green.. It's probably an error during the manufacturing process as mentioned before..

Really? I vaguely remember it has been mentioned in here before.. I think we even discussed it briefly in the rare items and collectors who own them thread at some point.. I still haven't decided whether it's legit or not though..

Actually Andy might be on to something since the motherboard in the games changed over the years. I think the last editions were slightly different compared to the earlier ones..

Hmm.. I don't think they can be fixed. The round rings are usually produced under direct sunlight. The only known solution is to replace them by getting a similar piece from another game.
