I don't understand people who use price guides for collectible items.. I mean prices always depend on demand and demand changes all the time so how can a price guide be accurate all the time? And if you take in account Ebay, where some auctions are more difficult to find than others, price guides are completely worthless..

I think the spitballs could have fetched a bit more considering that it's a bit difficult to find them mib nowadays but in general Paul's auctions went very well!
Matey produces bubble bath and from what I saw in their site most of their products are related to sea or something so they might have produced a lifeboat product at some point. Anyhow, I'm sticking to what I've said. Take a look at the contents of the box, how on earth could the game stay in place in there?

I agree, super mario bros is one of the best game&watch games. The fake scrolling works very well. I'll update the list soon! Well done Aris!

I think it's great work and I hope I see it sometime translated to english! Why did you use a fake game on the cover?

Hey guys, there's nothing rare here. It's fake box, it never contained a lifeboat game. Andy, the blisterpacks have nintendo logo on the card so I don't understand your argument. And why do you think it's impossible that two or three people thought the exact same thing (use this box and sell it with a lifeboat in it - easy money!). www.matey.co.uk/Michael

It's amazing what people who don't know much about the games would pay for a "rare" box. We've talked about this "special" box some time ago and we concluded that this box originally contained some kind of soap (yes, a soap!!). Even if a collector didn't know that, the absence of any kind of nintendo logo, copyright or model number should have made him suspicious enough to avoid this item..

This auction was relisted.. offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=180351972029 Possible shill bidding in there although we can't know for sure because "To help keep the eBay community safe, enhance bidder privacy, and protect our members from fraudulent emails, eBay has changed how User IDs display on the bid history page. Only you and the seller of the item can view your User ID, all other members will see anonymous user IDs, such as Bidder 1." Right. Michael
