Hey guys, long time no see! I hope everyone is well! Although I'm not very involved in g&w collecting these days, I've still got about 40 loose games in my collection and this number will probably increase in the next few months. While doing that I'm selling my really rare items to make room for loose ones. So, I'm selling my boxed white spitball sparky. Take a look: www.ebay.com/itm/162483550193?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1586.l2649Let me know if you have any questions! Michael

I guess everyone should have already noticed the new look of the forum. This is due to the mandatory update of Proboards software for all Proboards erm.. boards!
The new software can do a lot of great stuff the older one couldn't even dream of but the transition process could be a pain for some of you. Please bear with us while we try to check that everything is working as it should and while we are making the necessary changes.
If you find any problem or glitch with the forum, just send Ash888 or me a PM or email so we can check it out. You can also PM us if you think we should add a feature of the old forum in this one. Of course you can always reply here if it's more convenient for you.
In the meantime, enjoy the new look!

I remember that a couple of simulators appeared in appstore a few years ago and they were removed at some point, as far as I can remember due to Nintendo's request. There are certain copyrights involving game&watch games and it would be best if you contacted Nintendo and asked whether they could give you permission about this first.. I'm not sure they would grant your request though even if you charged nothing for the download.. There are lots of simulators for the PC already of course and I haven't seen any action towards stopping their distribution so it might be a good idea to ask madrigal for advice. Here's his site: www.madrigaldesign.it/sim/Michael

Why would anybody open a box and steal only the game? It doesn't make sense.. And moreover why would anybody would want it? Only a handful of people know its true value and can appreciate it..

As I understand it, only the back of the game is green right? In this case I believe it's discoloration, most likely caused by heat or whatever judging by the condition of the game. Even if it isn't (which I sincerely doubt it), you've got half a rare game since the front is in the original color.. All releases with different colors than their regular counterparts had a different color on both front and back cases.
If this was indeed a factory mistake, it would not have been released like that. Someone would have noticed the difference in the colors of the front and back.. Nintendo willfully released games in different colors but I don't think they would release anything like that..

Marking anything as gift doesn't work in your favor any more.. Everything is checked and customs fees are applied based on the declared value on the packet or the insurance value. Customs fees come as a percentage on that total value plus handling fees (which are higher when a courier service is used). The percentage changes depending on the type of item included in the package - it's not just VAT. Every country has a different policy about the charges so I'm not sure how the total was calculated in your case.
All in all customs is just a way for countries to make money so absurd charges are to be expected..

As far as I know, white sparkys all came with english instructions and leaflets. The battery packet was added later on, this game came with a green text on white battery packet as regular supercolor games. The seller probably got a white sparky and added everything else from another game.. Michael
