Although Maxime's Green Fire looks like a genuine factory error, I happened to come across these pics: A close look at pic 2 seems to suggest that the original blue color is underneath the green. But could sun, heat, or smoke exposure really result in such a color change? Maxime or anyone who has a green Fire, is the color also green under the battery cover, or have you taken the game apart to see the inside of the casing?

Well as far as I know sunlight can't change blue color to green.. It's probably an error during the manufacturing process as mentioned before..

I agree with Mike's comment. I too can't see this being a sun-fade issue. I strongly believe the erroneous colouring originates at the production level. Whether it's blue underneath the green, or just plain green is hard to say. My first thoughts are that it would just be plain green, but, looking at Ash's pics, it does look like there is blue underneath the green in a few areas. Of course, this would be easier to deduce if we had the game pictured in our hot little hands to inspect ourselves, but, nevertheless, it does raise some eyebrows.
One thing's for sure, even if it is genuine, it will never viewed as rare, nor be as sought after, as either of the white SC games.

AC Yes Aris I agree with you that it is most likely a factory error as I posted earlier. A mixup with the Popeye color. However, when I saw splotches of Fire blue on this green-looking Fire, it made me curious so I thought I'd post it for discussion. Those blue marks could be from a marker or something that happens to be the same color as a blue Fire, but I thank you for mentioning the discoloration nonetheless, as that was my main reason for posting these pics.
