I have a friend who has put a nice big LCD screen into a cabinet and is running MAME on it: Fantastic stuff! Over 2000 games I'd love to do it myself; I think I might buy that guy's Cattledog. Er... Catalogue! Yes, Mike, "handyman" is the correct word pulse8

Thanks Mike, very helpful! I worked it all out in the end; I can now play those old favourite games ;D Bittorrent looks really good. I also use Soulseek (mostly for music) and DC++ for other downloads. Bittorrent may replace both of them pulse8

Hi all, I'm sure a number of us have an emulator of some kind on our computers; I have one for NES, SNES, Amiga and of course the most popular MAME, as well as a couple of others I never look at. As yet I haven't successfully loaded an Amiga game as I don't have a kickstart ROM. Does anybody else have an Amiga emulator that may be able to help me out? I'm really looking forward to playing some old Amiga favourites like Elvira, Z-Out and Nebulus Thanks in advance! pulse8

I believe they know who is responsible for planning the bombings in Madrid, and they also believe it is the same worm that is responisible for these recent atrocities in London. He remains on the run... pulse8

As I write this there have been reports all over the news that London has suffered 6 explosions: 5 in the London Undergound railway system and an additional one in a double decker bus. I know that there are a number of British collectors here, so I hope you and all your families are OK. Please check in to let us know! My mother (who's fine, thank goodness!) and two of my close friends (not heard from them yet) are over there at the moment; I'm sure others who visit here have friends and relatives there also. I'm looking forward to hearing good news from everyone! pulse8

I never finished high school (Yr 10 (Form 4) was as far as I went). I went to work after that in various dead-end jobs, got a truck licence and two variations of forklift licences. After Arnott's biscuit factory closed in Melbourne, I took my $20,000 payout and got myself a career in the Fire Protection industry. I'm just about to commence my final semester at school; I'm doing a Diploma in Fire Technology. Currently I work as a Contracts Administrator, but I think I'd like to get more into doing full-scale fire tests, or, better yet, into the Fire Brigade ;D pulse8
