Somone has a lot of money to spend, I think (although the G&W collection could do with an upgrade ) pulse8

How the hell did you find Michael Jackson's house? and the "what's the ?" how did you find it? anyway did you know google Moon??? moon.google.comMike Just from looking around, Mike Do you think that Michael Jackson's ranch is in the middle of nowhere so nobody can hear the children scream? Oooohhhh, now I'm in trouble! Yes Mike I've seen Google Moon - it's funny, right? p.s. What the **** is that bloke all about lying off the coast of Australia? I really don't know, Paul. It looks to be enormous! I don't think we have any members in here from Queensland, but maybe the guys in NSW might have a better idea of what it is than me? pulse8

Thanks Pieter! I think I must be the only one with a high res house! Oh well. Here's some more sites you might like to look at: Sydney Opera House: 33°51'19.96"S, 151°12'52.75"E (with the Harbour Bridge just to the left of it) Area-51: 37°16'35.58"N, 115°48'9.19"W Daytona International Speedway: 29°11'4.46"N, 81° 4'13.58"W Ground zero (WTC site): 40°42'41.39"N, 74°00'46.44"W (if you view this with 3D buildings checked, it even shows the temporary site buildings in 3D too!) That'll keep you going for a few minutes. pulse8

Pieter, where have you been Haven't seen you for about a month! Good to see you here again, mate OK one way to do it (there may be another way ) is to place a marker on the spot you want; click on the little drawing pin icon down near the bottom right. Then when the New Placemark window comes up, click on the Advanced check box, and then click on the location tab. The co-ordinates will be displayed there. Hope this is understandable! pulse8

It gets updated regularly, but to cover the whole planet could take some time! My house, as you can see, is JUST inside the (relatively) hi-res zone. Many capitals in the US can be seen in 3D, just turn on the 3D Buildings option and look at the city from an angle... Microsoft is creating an edition of their own to rival Google Earth; not nearly as good though at the mo. For a bit of a bubble, try Google Moon, and zoom all the way in ;D pulse8

Fantastic fun; visit any place on the planet! Download it here: earth.google.com (Don't ask questions, just do it! ) I've found a heap of places of interest on there. If you put these co-odinates into the search window on the top left, you can see my house -37.8019839235, 145.039171465 Might be fun to list other places of interest in here, too. Discuss... pulse8 EDIT: Woohoo! 1,000 posts in the General Chat forum ;D

I've only heard some brief reports on this so far. They suspect something may have gone wrong some time before the plane actually crashed It must be difficult working with this kind of potential; I understand that you have a high-stress job, Mike, and I respect people like you for doing the job you do. I just hope they get to the bottom of it to find out why it happened, and hopefully prevent it from happening again! pulse8
