Hello, Don't want to spoil the fun, but I don't think this is an OEM It probably is a blank Videopoche box which you can find from time to time inside the printed outercase. All don't have it, but some do. My VP Chef has one inside, but I can't seem to remove it from the box. Maybe it's glued to the outercase. This game must has lost it's outercase overtime. PS: The OEM come from the US for shure. As they were first spotted there and the perforated numbers on the box refers to a product code used by an American Company mostly active in California. So the link with Micro Games is not so stupid I think. Grtz, Gamewatcher

I'd have to disagree with you there Beni. I've seen several of these OEM boxed games, but never for a WS game. I saw them on Silver Series games, and both came from the US. One was Fireman Fireman, and the other was Toss-Up. We can always revisit the whole debate on how/why OEM boxes exist, and I hope that idiot Kirk Saxon doesn't come on here with yet another alias username, and tell us bullsh*t stories of Japanese huddling and coming back to him with an explanation of warehouses burning down or storagerooms getting flooded! Personally, I think the Demo/tester explanation makes the most sense. These particular OEM versions are essentially sleeves, and serve the purpose of protecting the game and keeping it in place while travelling around with the game. It also allows for very easy access to the game by sliding it out, rather than repeated opening of the large flap, which eventually will result in creasing of the flap(s). I guess it's kinda like the white boxes that demonstrator or tester colognes and perfumes come in. They're white too! LOL! The blisterpack theory is interesting... As is the theory on temporary packaging for countries that ended up creating their own boxes (ji21, videopoche & Tric come to mind). Does anyone else have any ideas they'd like to share? Very awesome collection of company released promotional games! These could be some of the rarest games out there. I think the Blue Impulse "Mizuno Vermin" is my personal favorite among them.

However i got one before in 2007. The casing was black but the members here felt it was swopped with an exterminator casing.

A lot of cool, rare items here, including a Black Vermin. I've seen two or three floating around throughout the years, but most people, including me, think they are fakes. mpanayiotakis.proboards.com/thread/1954/rare-item-list-collectors-who
