I'm pretty sure Mr. Weiss has the other Petro-Lewis OP, but, I haven't spoken with him in a while, so, I'll check with him as well, and let you know, unless of course, he confirms for himself here. <confirm>Yes, I have the Petro-Lewis Oil Panic.</confirm> Patrick

Speaking of Taki, (and I swear to God, I'm not trying to give you more work here Mike....) I was talking with him about a month ago. He has 24 out of the 26 known NOA/PS games, only missing NOA DK3 and NOA DKH. Shouldn't he be in first place on the NOA/PS table instead of me? AC I believe that the table is updated when the members request it, i.e. tell us about what they've got. As Taki isn't an active member, he's never been added to the list, and he probably never will be. There could be many things he has that none of us on this forum know about, and for that matter, there could be a number of collectors worldwide who have more than 24 PS, but never visit here, so we can only act upon reliable information (i.e. from the source). That's the way I see it. Andy

Aris, as Andy said, Taki has never requested to be added in the list. The only list I update myself (well.. sort of! ) is the rare item list. Anyway, Greg, that's a lot of work, I'll see if I can update everything this weekend! Michael

That's the way I see it. Andy Hmmm... I did not know that. On the one hand, it makes sense. I mean, you can't be going around asking people how many NOA/PS games they have, in order to put them on the table. So, yeah, it's much easier to have people inform you just like collectors such as Anders, Maxime and Greggpaea have done most recently. But, on the other hand, we do know how many NOA/PS games he has. Just like we know that he owns certain rare items. So, why would we put his name on the Rare Items list (NOA Punch Out, PS Fire Attack, 20,000,000 GH) without his "asking" yet, omit his collection from the NOA/PS table? Doesn't seem very consistent to me. I mean, you can't have him on some tables, but not others, and claim it's because he didn't "ask" to be added, because he didn't ask to be added to the other tables either. Torsten and Philippe are other collectors that have extensive NOA/PS collections. But, in Torsten's case, (to my knowledge) no one has been in contact with him in years, so, we don't know what his situation is. Ergo, in his case, he should NOT be on the table, and rightfully isn't. Philippe Renaud is a member here, but doesn't post much because he is very shy about his "poor" English to the point of feeling embarrassed trying to post here. Nonetheless, he is still a collector like the rest of us, and should not be omitted from tables just because he doesn't speak English well. If I were able to get the numbers from him, don't you think he should be added to the table. I guess the only other thing that we should take into consideration is privacy. And what I mean by that is that perhaps they don't WANT to be on the table. So, if you guys are okay with it, I can find that out for both collectors and report back. If you still think they need to ask to be put on, then that's fine too, I'm just trying to help out a bit here. I guess I'm just thinking that this is pretty much the premier G&W forum around, and, as members, we should try to ensure the data here is as accurate and as complete as possible. We may not be able to get information on all the NOA/PS collections/rare items out there, but, for the ones we do already have data on, IMO, we should be adding them. AC PS If it's a timing issue, i.e. you guys don't have enough time to do it, I would be more than happy to help out where I can, but, that would mean you would have to make me an admin.

Ok, updated the list - I'll have to add the photos soon as well. Btw, regarding the rare item list, it's different than the various collection lists because this is a list about rare items - not collectors. Whenever we learn that someone has got a rare item - directly or indirectly - we add this information but the list could be there without this info. On the other hand, collection lists is the responsibility of the collector, whether he wants to be a part of them is his/her choice. There's no reason to try and follow everybody's collection status unless they want to. Aris, if you wish to contact them and they express their desire to be part of the list, it's no problem for me!

Fair enough Mike.
Given the rarity of NOA/PS games, half of them fall under the rare items list anyway! So....-LOL!
Seriously though, I will inquire with other NOA/PS collectors. IMO, the NOA/PS collection is exclusive enough to warrant having as accurate representation as possible.

Hi All, I also own a DKII in blister on the list. BTW, I agree that some shipping boxes are pretty rare and I remember paying like $400.00 for some of them while I've found DK to have serial number, Made In Japan, and without serial number. I'll also be uploading more pics to my collection album: www.flickr.com/photos/legendofvtecThanks, Kevin

Would a ball game with no model number be classed as rare?
