Andy, since you own an audi yourself, can you suggest a good audi related discussions forum I can visit ?

There's only one that I've used and it's really concentrating on the TT, but there is a section for other Audi's as well. I'm not sure if it covers the A4, though, It's quite busy so I'm sure there's someone there who can direct you to a more appropriate site. TTforumAndy.

It's a lovely car. I've always liked them. Not practical enough for me mowadays It's best for us that we don't stop and think that our collections are worth as much as a nice car! Andy.

Thats right Mike ;D Now I can focus on my G&W again.... I also have a big wagon for carrying the kiddies around, so it's mainly used for getting me to work and back, and the odd spirited drive.... -B

Wow for a minute there I was thinking that you was going to buy one of these beasts until I read the last sentance. Personally I'd stroll into a Porsche showroom and test drive one of cars for free. I doubt they have the GT but I'm sure they'll have some other model thats almost as fast. Wear a suit, talk posh and roll into the showroom in a flash car and you're sorted. If you are serious about buying one I'm sure you've seen this www.buzzhumor.com/videos/1063/Top_Gear_Porsche_Carrera_GTIf you're outta money check this out as you could drive away with it for free Indy

Yep, you're right, it was an odd posting! What are we supposed to do with it?! I'm thinking perhaps you've won the lottery but don't want to admit it in case we all start begging.

Hi Andy, You're "supposed" to tell me which car you like best. That's about it... (and NO I haven't won the lottery, sadly). I thought I explained in my first post that I'm just going through one of my mid life crises, and dreaming about what might be.... This segment from the BBC program "Top Gear" probably had something to do with it. I *defy* you to watch this clip and not wish you could drive one!! ;D ;D

I wouldn't vote for Mercedes, it's just not too exotic. The Veyron is in a league of its own and you can't compare it with the other cars. I would vote for the Bugatti. 407 km/hour! Amazing car.. Unfortunately it costs as much as three really big houses.
