Hi All, Since most of us are at least in our early 20's, I figure I'll start a thread as named above. Other than spending a lot on G&W/handheld games/Nike shoes/clothing, I've been spending a lot on cars lately! I've gone from 95 Nissan 200SX SE (parents bought as sort of a graduation present!) -> 95 Nissan 200SX SE-R -> 93 Acura Legend L (parents bought!) AND 93 Honda Prelude VTEC (parents bought/still have it!) -> 89 BMW M3 (partial company/rest my $$)/86 Toyota Corolla GT-S (my own $$/still have these!) AND 91 Toyota MR-2 Turbo (my own $$/selling to pickup a 95 BMW M3 this week!!) so I guess I've switched from pretty much JDM-BMWs! My next car(s) will be a 98/+ M Roadster and 00/+ M5 as I'm hooked after driving M series cars! I figure I've spend over $25K USD (incl. company expense on the 89 M3!) in buying/repairing/modding/upgrading cars since last april! The 95 M3 will definitely be the last car I get/keep (along with the 89 M3 and 86 Corolla GT-S) before putting deposit for my own place as a decent townhouse/condo is around $500K here while a decent house is $600K/+ here in Silicon Valley, USA Kevin

Boys and their toys You got any pictures of your cars? Already a nice list of cars you have. I really like the M3, it's a very nice car! I've got a red 93' VW Golf III myself. A very decent car, I've never had any problems with it and I'll probably own it till it falls apart (not likely to happen soon). I also have a Ferrari Enzo.......scale 1/24th ;D laurens

I'm in the process of buying an Audi A4 1.8T. It'll be a huge upgrade from my ford fiesta but I'll keep this one as well for the city.
I envy people like Kevin who can buy almost any car they want. If I had the money and wanted a sports car, I would probably buy a chrysler crossfire..

Hi Laurens/Michael, Thanks for your comments! Laurens-I'm just waiting to pickup my 95 Cosmo Black E36 M3 so I can take pictures with my 89 Zinnoberrot Red E30 M3! I'll post up as soon as I get it! Haha..I'm quite a Ferrari Freak too as I have a Tommy Hilfiger Polo, Fila Ferrari Shoes/Duffel Bag, and 3 1/18 Hotwheels/Maisto F50, 456GT, and 550 Barchetta A F355/F360 are simply WAY out of my budget unless I use my house savings to put down for one and live at home for another few years to save up again...then again, I won't have much to survive after having one (along with insurance/repairs/maintainence/etc.) if so haha....I just want to get a 98/+ M Roadster and 00/+ M5 for my next car(s)! Michael-Yeah, a Ford Fiesta is a gas saver yet it's so small and unsafe for US An Audi 1.8T is pretty nice as some friends have this or even S4! I DON'T buy ALMOST every car I want or else I'll be buying at least Porsche 993 C4/C4S/Turbo hehe....I'm simply living at home with NO rent and just supporting myself-single and not married/no kids so it's ok for now... I don't know about car prices in Greece but the E30 (bought at 123K miles) cost me around $9K USD while the E36 (has about 105K miles) will cost me around $13K while the 86 Corolla GT-S cost me around $5K (for the car/maintainence/repairs so far!) Yeah, I like Initial-D and drift (or at least try to) everynow and then Kevin

OK cars. Here's mine... 1992 Holden Berlina VP 3.8ltr V6 Extractors 2.5" Sports exhaust Cold-air intake K&N filter Stage II memcal chip 17" BMW rims Koni shocks with "super-low" King Springs Used to go great, but I "got used to it" Great car, I've had it 4 years to the day now. Time for an upgrade soon ;D I'd really like a new Audi A6 or a Lexus - but I'd like a lot of things... pulse8

Hey "Pulse8", That's a neat car esp. with E46 rims! I believe Holden cars are mainly sold in Australia ONLY right? How many HP does that put out at 3.8L V6? Since US/esp. California emission laws are so strict, cars here make less HP than other countries while smog is such a pain! My E30 puts out 195 HP while the E36 puts out 240 HP and we can only pump premium 91 gas in most parts of california Oh well...is Lexus IS300 called IS300 there? (Altezza in asian countries/if you know which car I'm talking about!) Kevin

I don't own any other toys. My car is a peugeot 205 (which actually belongs to my girlfriend). I recently bought a NES. This a played a lot when I was a kid. You can get them complete and boxed for 50$ games go for 10-15$ Collecting pocketsize games is just too expensive. I have a hard time spending like 300$ on clothes, yet I spend over 2K on a cardboard box.....On the other hand, I don't have 60 games to complete Mattijs

Hi "Kevin" ;D Yes, you're right, Holdens are mainly only sold in Australia, but they are also exported to New Zealand and Saudi Arabia! <--- The engine in these cars is sourced from a Buick (modified slightly to suit a right-hand drive car). These (from the factory put out 127kW which is about 170HP. With the modifications I've done it takes it up to about 215HP. I was lucky that the stud pattern for these wheels is exactly the same as a BMW because I think they suit the car nicely. The best we get here is PULP 98 RON which is a pretty good fuel ;D And yes, the Lexus IS300 is the same here - I love those!! pulse8

Yup, you're wrong  You're allowed unlimited power - MG Rover are actually working on a production supercar which will come with a factory upgrade of 980bhp if you're mad enough

I've owned many cars in my time but these days I'm driving a Honda HRV and a Toyota Corolla Levin.
However, in my younger revhead days, I owned a Ford Falcon XE 351 Cleveland which was worked and putting out almost 300hp.
That car used to shake the earth until the day when I had a fire in the engine bay. I had a new set of extractors fitted but the morons who did the job put them too close to the auto trans fluid line. The heat build up from the extractors melted the line and the fluid caught fire doing a lot of damage under the hood.
It was never the same after that.
I also owned a Toyota Supra, which was a very nice car. One day I was on the F3 heading back to Sydney from the north coast, doing about 120-130, when it threw a rod straight out the side of the block.

Well, prices in Europe are hardly close to what you pay in the US Kevin. I'll pay around 34,000 euros for the Audi (new of course) which is.. around 44,000 us$ I think. I'm sure you can buy a very good luxurious car with that money in the US like a mercedes or something..

Michael-"I'll pay around 34,000 euros for the Audi (new of course) which is.. around 44,000 us$ I think." A fully loaded A4 1.8T here's mid $30K yet prices there isn't as bad as Hong Kong/other countries with high luxury taxes! Paul-Wooh...another fellow M3 driver! Why SMG II though?! It's almost as good/responsive as Ferrari F-1 style Paddle shift yet manual is always more fun!! 10 more HP there than in US arr... Kevin
