Hey everyone, I just started collecting game & watches, and Donkey Kong Jr. is my first one! I am trying to just get all 60 unboxed, just the game. It will take several or dozens of years, but it should be a lot of fun. I am excited to get to know everyone here at the forums! -Luke Hi Luke, Welcome to the forum. What got you interested in G&W? Did you have some as a child?

I used to own Game & Watch Gallery 3 on GB Color, and I was curious about those little LCD games from McDonald's. I've played a few online, and Donkey Kong is one amazing adaption!

Also since I'm new here I may as well introduce my self, My name is Lakota, I live Ohio, USA. I didn't have a game and watch as a kid but my friend down the street (who was a only child and had everything) had a Mario bros multiple screen that I desperately tried to acquire from him but never did. So when I got older and had more money to spend on my various collections, I started to purchase gandws. I had a total of 19 at one point, 7 being boxed but was laid off from my job at the time and was forced to sell off my whole collection, with the exception of my Mario bros. So now that I'm back on my feet I'm trying to build my collection back up.

Good luck finding them in the wild. I live in the States too (California) and have had a heck of a time trying to locate any at vintage toy shops, retro game conventions, garage sales, you name it. Your best bet is ebay by far. If you're not looking for any rare ones or boxed ones, you can find some that end at decent prices, often times well under $100. What is your goal as a collector?

I hope you'll be able to build up a sweet collection now that you're back on your feet!

Hi! New to the hobby. Found my old beloved Fire Attack game in my mothers attic, when cleaning out her house to go on sale. Fire attack got me interested in gaming, and have been a long time gamer since. I was really happy when i found that game, after all these years. I started to look around ebay and then also found your site, plus www.gameandwatch.ch which is both great resources for someone like me, just getting started collecting. My goal is to find some quality games in good condition, and then hopefully have a collection that my son (thats just over 1 now) can take over when he's older If he wants to. Done some bidding, but there's alot of sellers just selling at high prices and only buy now. It's tempting, but i'm trying to be patient. Well. Again, great site, great FAQ. Christofer Sweden

Yes it's not a cheap hobby, but going for the single games is a lot cheaper then the boxed games. Good luck on the remaining 32. JB
