Well finally I can sleep again at night. As you may have read from René's post, my YM-901-S has arrived safe and sound, and I am a happy man. Not only because I now know where my US$730 went, but this is indeed a great item. A few scratches on it, but it has original instructions so that's nice... The thing that got me the most is "HOW SMALL IS IT...?" ;D This experience has certainly made me think twice about bidding on items that I can't guarantee will reach me (but then again, when can you guarantee anything through eBay? I haven't left feedback as yet, and I won't until he leaves it for me. "...I'll try to check my email sometime soon when I can..." Hmmm... Still, I like to give someone the benefit of the doubt, no matter what their story. I'd like to personally thank Ulf and Paul, and also of course René for his continued support through this ordeal. I can now continue on my merry way ;D ;D All's well that ends well. pulse8

Indeed, finally the game has arrived. I don't know what to think. The seller says he was very sick and couldn't read his email, but he could withdraw the money from his paypal account. Well, I think it's always a risk, when you buy something on Ebay. But often it's cheaper, than buying from a collector. René PS: Innis, I don't think my game would have arrived without your persistence. Thanks.

No Problem, René, but it was a group effort. That's what I like about this board; there is always some healthy competition, but when it comes time to pull together and help each other out, that's exactly what we do. Thanks again to all! pulse8

Wow, hat a read... I'm sure we've all had these"scary" moments in our collecting-history... I'm still waiting for a French Fire or a refund for it... Seller claims it was returned undilivered, resent and now we're three weeks further and still no game... Seller promissed to "take care of it" when I asked him for a refund but I'm not sure I'll ever see either one of them... Any French "negotiators" ?? And hey Innis, not that it's any of my business but did you pay back the refund you received or did you keep that "for suffered pains" ?? Kevin.

Well Kevin, You could always nicely ask badoshin to help, as he's in France. I hope you get the games soon! Im also having some issues with a seller..Been waiting for over a month for something that I requested be sent registered airmail, but he is apparently out of the country and had a friend send them for him, and they were "accidently" send uninsured economy airmail. He said he'd refund, but nothing yet.. . Im always having bad luck with ebay these days..

I think mike should create a "Bad Trader topic"
What do you think about this?

I personally think there should be a topic about this, but previously it wasn't agreed on as It could start fights if someone here has a problem with someone else in the forums..

No, that's not the problem (members vs members). The problem lies with the word "bad seller" itself which is a totally subjective characterization. After all, we know how strange and picky some collectors are..
If a member wants to complain about a transaction he had though, he has every reason to write something about it here stating the facts but we should avoid generalizations.

Mikedotbe and Fox, I think such a thread would be abused, and everyone can end up in such list, like Mike says, we know how strange and picky some collectors are...
and afterall, everyone can make a mistake, me too and even you two already did
My point is, off course we should mention bad deals, but putting people in a WHITE list (good sellers) or BLACK LIST (bad sellers) will cause problems

Well i'm used to other colletcors forum (for lego bionicle toys : and they use this system... they have 18.000 members maybe more, and it works GREAT... Anyway i understand your saying... as game and watch is more tricky than bionicle toys. Mike

Is this not what feedback is for on ebay??
If you have a bad experience let other people know, but mistakes can be made and it is always better to try and resolve matters with your trader before airing your views publically.
I do not think it would be a good idea to have a bad trader topic, as people have mentioned what is bad? We would probably all end up on it.
Also people who have had bad comments made about them may not know about this forum and therefore not have a chance to reply, which in itself is unfair.

And hey Innis, not that it's any of my business but did you pay back the refund you received or did you keep that "for suffered pains" ?? Kevin. You're right, Kevin, it is NONE OF YOUR BLOODY BUSINESS!!! ;D Kidding. Well, the thing is I'm firstly going to wait and see if he actually realises that the money is gone. I think I'm entitled to at least some compensation for the recent heartache I've been through, right? And if he does ask for it back, perhaps I'll see how I feel... pulse8
