Well, but not all the Japan boxes. As i told the other day i have a boxed Octopus bought from a Japanese seller with japanese instructions and paperwork. The same thing with a boxed Popeye . Both of them have a red Mickey on the back.

Well, it's pretty obvious for me. Games in blue mickey boxes have serial numbers in the 05xxxxxx range and all come from Japan. Some games have earlier serials of course and they come in regular red mickey boxes.

Both of them have a red Mickey on the back. Hey Pablo, I think you missed part of our discussion on this topic. No one said ALL Japanese boxed Parachute, Octopus, Popeye and Chef games will have a Blue Mickey on it. As a matter of fact, we don't know for sure which ones have the Blue Mickey on the back, but, what we did notice so far, is that of the Blue Mickeys we have found, they have been among the earlier releases (low serial numbered) of the aforementioned games, and more specifically, the games had serials in the 05xxxxxx range. Keeping in mind that games can of course, and often do, get swapped out of boxes for more pristine looking games, this is not a foolproof way to determine which games were in Blue Mickey boxes, but, it's probably the best option we have. So, having said that, Pablo, what are the serial numbers on your Blue Mickey boxes? Aris, I'm pretty sure I've seen other 'wrongly coloured' games on the back of some boxes. I don't think it's just Mickey mouse. I still have most of my wide screens, I'll check them. But Multi screens had game pics on the back as well, people should be checking them as well. Andy. Andy, any luck with finding these "other" games that are wrongly coloured on the back of Wide Screen or Multi Screen boxes yet? Does anyone else have any Blue Mickey boxes??? AC

I had a look at my remaining games and of what I have got left, there are not 'obvious' mistakes. There are a few where the colour of the game on the back is considerably lighter than the real thing but I put that down to fading of the print. No blue mickeys or green parachutes Andy.

Hey, look what I found! I'm sur it's a Egg game with face plate and electronic from Mickey mouse, very easy to realise ! Interesting to see the back of this game, to be sure !

I don't think he would use such a rare game as Egg to do this, i think it's a Fire game, as it is also blue and a cheaper one. As you say it's easy to do it, except if the back is also blue. Then it wouldn't be so easy to do this, or maybe it would confirm that it is original.

I would've guessed Pablo's theory at a glance, but Fredolococo is right. hamaribros.exblog.jp/6848151I was just trying to find out something about the Blue Mickey, and I came across this blog. The blogger wants to figure out what happened like us, and he put together a Mickey/Egg hybrid to see how it looks.

Yes, it's possible, you just need to be careful taking off the front panel of mickey mouse from the case.. The problem with this is that the back of the case would have the Egg model number..

Blue Mickey Chef: 05664906 Blue Mickey Octopus: 05279463 Thanks Ash! I really appreciate getting these serial numbers. Especially when they're for rare games/versions of game, so, please keep them coming Ash, and anyone else. I'll update the spreadsheet tonight. AC
