BREAKTHROUGH! This is to update on our hypothesis that the highest Super Color game series is 1400380. I have beaten that number. Now i have sighted a White Crab Grab with the serial No 1400544. I have been hunting this game for more then six months and i finally managed to "Grab the Crab" this week. So now we have two known White CRAB GRAB. Could this suggest that there were 164 White CRAB GRAB produced from the serials we have? We can lengthen our hypothesis with this one i guess. Are there more White CG within the Serial 1400382 & 1400544? Now the important one. As before i would like inputs from the mentors in this forum as to what price should be offered for this Rare One. Its a beautiful piece. I just cant let it go. Can anyone assist me with the price please and on an urgent basis. This is only for the loose game without box or instructions. Aris you can update the database with this serial. My 6 months of wait and persistence have paid off. And am really happy that we have a new beginning to this topic. Need replies.. Thank you.. Hi Aatifk, Well, big congratulations to you on finally landing this elusive white Crab Grab game! It is definitely only the second KNOWN example of a white Crab Grab game to exist, with Paul having found the first one. Well, actually, I found the first one, and just let Paul know about it. ;D Sadly, somewhere along the line of taking pics, etc... Paul mixed up his white Supercolour games, and while he had two white SS games, he only had one white CG game. Unfortunately, he had put the white CG game in the SS box, and when he was selling off his stuff, he didn't realize that the white CG he just sold was not an extra white CG, and that it was in fact, the only white CG he had. He had put a white SS in the CG box!!! Oliver, (Gameandwatchfreak on ebay) a collector from Switzerland ended up with it, and while we did explain what had happened when Paul sold it, he was not about to give it up and return it to Paul, so, that's what happened to the only, other, white CG we know of. Aatifk, yes, it is indeed quite possible that the range of serials between Paul's (S1400380) and this one that you found (S1400544), are white. Just like the range of serials for all known white SS games do not have any non-white SS games between the lowest known white SS serial (S1386042) and the highest known white SS serial (S1389220). With the range of white SS games being about 3178, I would think the range for white CG games will be quite a bit larger than the current 164 units. BTW, where are the pics of this item? I'd like to see it please. As for price, as I've said many times with all games, they're only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Take that sealed MM Pano for example. No one would have even guessed it would be worth barely a fifth of what it sold for. I've PMd you with ranges of what to expect for it based on previous sales. But, you'll need to add pics of it before any seasoned collector would even make a legit offer on it. It may be one of 2 known white CGs known to exits, but without its box, it has already lost at least half its value. and if it looks like someone has taken a ballpein hammer to it, it wont be worth squat! Once again Aatifk, congratulations on this great find! Your persistence has indeed paid off and I will add this serial to the database. Well done! AC

Hi Ash Thank you for your reply. I dint have replies so i went ahead with the sellers price. You will be amazed to know that this game is found again in India! I dont know how did these games land up there? Probably the immense immigrated population on their way back got these games for their loved ones. I am really lucky to have found this piece. How do i post pictures in this forum? I think quick reply does not allow that. What do i have to do to upload picture? Thank you once again. Hi Aatifk, Ah ha, I suspected it was India. I just did a little more research and found that, while there are about 10 white Spitball Sparkies we know of floating around, your Crab Grab might only be the second or third that people on this forum have seen. One was purchased by Devster in 2008 with box and bits for $375, while another was sold by Devster (loose?) for $103 in 2009. Not sure if it's the same one or not. I'm sure Aris has more details on this. I use photobucket to post pics here. If you don't have an account, just send the pics to me and I'll post them for you. Hi Ash, Yes, that was indeed the exact same one. I still remember chatting with Paul about it, and all I remember him typing (when he found out what he had done) was something like: F*CK! F*CK!! F*CK!!! LOL! I'm not at home right now, so I can't access the database to be certain about the number of white SS games we have, but, it looks like based on the posts here, it might only be 7. Also, the one Paul bought that was boxed, again, if memory serves me, was purchased in the USA, possibly Florida. AC out PS Let's get those pics up Aatifk & ASH!!! I want to see this thing!

My first reaction based on its condition is to say that it was originally white, but turned yellow due to sun damage. You can also see this happen to Oil Panic if it has been exposed to too much sunlight.

Hi aatifk
It's common knowledge that all supercolours are white underneath their silver paint. So this 'yellow' one is either a true 'white spitball' that has turned yellow in the sun, or a standard silver one that's had it's paint removed and then turned yellow in the sun. Looking at it's poor condition, there's a fair chance that the paint was removed by the same owner who has obviously treated it badly in the past.
In any case, if anyone put their mind to it, they could create a better looking 'white spitball' than the yellow one you have, making it pretty worthless in my opinion.

Hi Andy.. I just received this white spitball.. It has aged due to mal handling in the SuN.. It is a genuine white Spitball which got hued in the sun..
Andy, you talking about converting, I am surprised how can we remove the metal cover and remove all the paint and then stick to its original state.. I would risk one game if you can do it for me.. let me know if i can send it to you..
regards..

Im sending you a message regarding the thread about the WHITE Spitball Game Watch. I have one! I bought it from a friend that claims to have bought it in Badajoz (SPAIN) many years ago new, in a store. serial S1386429
I bought it quite dirty, so I cleaned it up. It was a bit yellowed though... Its complete with box, foam and instructions. Also serial number and battery cover which is also same color.
