I reckon that man in the sea in queensland may be a little 'joke' by the makers of the software.
Here are a couple more: Mount Everest, with some good detail of the surrounding glaciers. 27.8916 87.1019 Ben Nevis (Highest mountain in Great Britain) 56.7975 -5.01972 Has anyone noticed how amazingly detailed the scans of Iraq are?! Can anyone find 'that' statue?
Try the north/south poles for a psychedelic experience! 90 0 -90 0
Andy.
Some additions: Universal studios, Orlando (I think this one's Islands of adventure, because of the rollercoasters) 28.471666 -81.47111 Kennedy space center rocket garden, Florida 28.52222 -80.681111 Go a little east towards the ocean and you'll see the several launchpads and runway.

Some more for you: Augusta Country club, where they play the US Masters golf: 33.4958 -82.023333 Slightly less glamorous, but hi-res and interesting if you've been there, Center-parcs at Elveden, Suffolk 52.3927 0.64333 Interesting lake shaped like Europe, in a park, in Torrevieja, Spain: 37.983888 -0.68777777
Has anyone noticed how easy it is to spot Airports from a long way up? You can easily see London's 3 main airports from 200 miles up because they are all in fairly green areas. Try LAX, though, and you have to get really close to find it in all the concrete.
It's amazing how much of Britain, and other countries, in fact, is mainly green fields!
Andy.

If you want a bit of a laugh, enter: "Guildford, england" as a search parameter You'll see what I mean when you get there. I did say it was just a *bit* of a laugh, didn't I?

Why would they even bother? Although, do the days get any less cloudy than that? pulse8

Here's an even better one......search for either Hartlepool or Middlesbrough in England, and then zoom out a bit. Look like they have done a lot of updating, I'm sure that wasn't there before, and where I live is now in medium-res whereas it was very low res a few weeks ago. Andy.

Did they try to draw some curious sign with the houses in Hartlepool ?
