Hi Andy and Mattijs! Thanks for the compliments. I have indeed a pretty good digital camera (6 million pixels) but it's really pretty easy to make great photos in NZ. The scenery is just stunning and it's almost impossible to make a photo which isn't breathtaking. As you've noticed I am on some of the photo's; my gf has to get all credit for those pics. And the one with the chopper (that was awesome!) was taken by the pilot. Btw; You should see the real sized pictures. The ones you see above are downsized by 85%. In reallife they're much nicer. For example the Kaiteriteri Beach pic is absolutely stunning in reallife. We let a professional shop print all our pics in 13 by 18 cm-format and some in 20 by 30 cm-format. btw:I've added 6 more pics. Cheers! sAner

Yes, welcome back Pieter Things will start to get busy again now no doubt Your talent is wasted whatever you're doing at the moment. You should definately think about taking up photography as a career. I went to New Zealand a few years ago and took loads of pictures but not even one of them compares to yours (although I do have a picture of that exact same Geyser!!!) Cheers Iain

Hey guys and girls! Thanks a lot for all the praise! Photography is a big hobby of mine and I am always on the look out for good photoangles, etc. It drives my gf mad at some times. She has to drive most of the time so I can look out the window. When I yell; "stop the car!!", she has to stop at once. Heeehe! We often cause trafficjams. People hate my guts for that. Iain: It's good to be back on the forum though and I will spice things up for sure! Innis: I haven't bought any game and watches since 7 weeks but I did think a lot about them. Even while being on a holiday. I saw a few signs promoting carboot and garage sales in NZ, but my gf didn't allow me to visit them. hehe! Ruth: I visited loads of LOTR sites. I saw the cliff where Aragorn took a dive (the Warg dragged him over the edge in Two Towers), I flew over the Misty Mountains in a chopper and I hiked through Mordor. Brendan: Do you really live in Tasmania??? I always thought you resided in Australia? Fox: No, I didn't bring any g&w's! My gf wouldn't let me! Bubbabomb: Wow! I wish I was a teacher! Loads of holidays!!! Mike: You're right. I should be really glad I was able to do this big trip. I could have bought quite a few g&w's for the money I spent in a few weeks though. Chat to you later. sAner

Brendan: Do you really live in Tasmania??? I always thought you resided in Australia? sAner Pieter, just for your info, Tasmania is a state of Australia, but isn't connected to the mainland. pulse8
