Hi Beerisnice and welcome to the forum I don't think there's any solution to cure the "yellowing" to the plastic on the games. T-Cut is designed for car body paintwork, so it will probably damage the plastic if used on G&W's but I've never tried so I really don't know. I don't think there's any way of cleaning up the scratches from the aluminium panels either, somebody before me tried to clean up my Vermin game with some sort of cleaner and ended up rubbing off the paintwork The only thing you can really do to tart up a G&W is clean off the dirt/dust around the game. I use an anti-static foaming cleaner which works well. /QJ

I haven't had much luck restoring the color of the faded G&W plastic cases, but as for removing scratches in the polarizer (screen) and on smooth parts of the plastic I use Novus Plastic Polish. Novus comes in three different strengths, with #3 being the strongest and #1 being the finest. Usually I use #2 (Fine Scratch Remover) and then #1 (Plastic Clean & Shine) to polish the plastics and it does a great job. Novus is great for removing scratches from all kinds of plastics, though it is a bit expensive (about US$15 for a set of 60ml containers of the 3 types). I have also used Novus to remove scratces on my iPod and it works wonders. Here's some more info about Novus polish: www.noscratch.com/novus/BTW I don't work for Novus - I'm just satisifed with their products! I also don't know of any good way to remove scratches or corrosion from the metal plates on G&W - some extremely fine sandpaper in the direction of the metal grain might work, but would probaably leave some visible scarring. Also, it's difficult to clean the aluminum plates without removing the silkscreen lettering of the controls, etc.

Hi All! Can i NOT recommend using Steel Wool, There was some pen ink marks on my Mario Bombs Away metal plate, and once i used the steel wool on it. it was never the same again.. . For cleaning permanent marker names off games, I use my girlfriends nail polish remover, Works REALLY well!! , Also gives the game a good clean too!
