I have (only just) noticed something which I regard as quite startling. If this has been discussed before then I apologise for being a dullard.
It is, quite simply, that the number 328 appears with alarming regularity on the box artwork as the "score" for MOST of the G&Ws which have the game featured on the packaging.
Even wierder, SOME of the games substitute the middle "2" for a 6 or a 9 Anomalies: Turtle bridge/Fire attack/Snoopy Tennis is 6328 "ball" is 3880 which is still derived from the basic "idea". Multiscreens (Rainshower/Lifeboat/Mario) are 368
etc. etc.
What the f**k is going on?
Gentlemen, ladies - please discuss your conspiracy theories NOW!
Or perhaps it isn't THAT significant - I felt moved to write this drivel in any case!

Correction: The "score" thing only applies to pre-1984 games.
After that, it's a free-for all with no obvious pattern at work. Perhaps Nintendo knew that we were on to them.
Um.... Time for bed ;D

Hey Jon, Why do you drink so much on a mondaynight?? ;D Hehehe, seriously; it's kinda strange Nintendo picked such a strange number as 'score'. Maybe it's an inside joke ... either that or march 28th is a very special date for the person responsible for Nintendo's boxartwork before 1984. sAner

Is nobody else even a little intrigued by this topic? I would love to know more about this kind of "trivia", (and "no" Pieter I haven't been drinking. ) If only we knew someone who worked for Nintendo in the early 80s, to discuss this kind of crap. There are plenty of other trivial topics we could be " discussing". Like does anybody have a good explanation for why there were 2 judge games? - Actually there are 3 (I think) pushing a point...... one green version - japanese text only two purple versions - one english/one japanese text. !! Anybody?
