His grandfather had an electronics store in Poland back in the early 80s, and these games were left to him by his grandfather in his attic. He had about 5 or 6 each of Silver Fire and all Gold Series games, in unused condition, most including sealed batteries. Me and three other collectors I know of on the forum were able to purchase some of his better ones, now he's down to his last few I think.

Quite a nice (boxed) Rainshower - Click here. Would have gone for slightly more with better pictures, and if the seller had agreed to sell worldwide?

So, I was in the right place at the right time and got a BIN on this punch-out for $99: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130914617479 ;D But that's not the end of the story. The seller sends me an invoice, I pay by paypal and then the next day the seller wants to cancel the transaction, saying his dog has eaten the item. That's a lame excuse if ever I've heard one. We all know what has happened, don't we? Some SCUMBAG has contacted the seller and poached the item off me. So, if anyone shows their new boxed punch out, you know they are a Andy

I saw that listing after it had ended, and was about to post it here with the full DKJR shipper listing, but I hesitated because I thought it might have led to something like you described. Most likely someone on this forum has it, and I have some guesses as to who it may be. Not sure if you have this saying in the UK, but the "dog ate it" excuse is often used in the US when someone is obviously lying and doesn't want to tell you what happened. Ash

Yes, andy, please report it.
FYI, I got my Punch-out from Maxime. I am spending way more money buying games from peeps on this forum than on Ebay : P

I did report it to ebay via their 'item interference' notification facility. That's all I will say for now as the third party is probably reading this.
I am aware of the saying about 'the dog ate it' which is why I knew the seller was lying. Of course, he didn't even need to say that. As soon as the seller asked to cancel the transaction, I knew what was happening.
It used to be that winning an auction was a binding contract, and refusing to sell an item would get you banned from ebay. Now it's so easy to cancel a deal just on a whim.

Andy Oddly enough, another one just sold for $1000. www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-BX-301-Micro-vs-System-Game-Watch-PUNCH-OUT-with-Box-Instructions-/281118312227Surprisingly this seems to be different than the one you bought, Andy.

I thought i had struck lucky with a similar looking Punch out auction BIN a while ago.Seller posted a picture similar to the one you show here (but not quite as good condition) for a similar price. When it turned up it was just a loose game.
