No way this can be legit! That must be at least 4 times the previous record for a DC-95. If someone was THAT desperate, they could have just approached another collector with $5000. Andy It could have been someone so rich that $15,000 was an insignificant amount to pay for a nice memory from their childhood. I've seen a few of these sealed MM Panos since I started collecting in my adult life (which isn't nearly as long as you have, Andy), and I can't recall one going for more than $2500 or so. The funny thing to me is, there are always 10 or so MM Panos listed on ebay, even more than DK3 sometimes, but there is still an impression that this game is extremely rare, driving up its price.

"ONLY FACTORY SEALED GAME & WATCH KNOWN TO EXIST" Known by whom, the guy who's selling it? LOL I've noticed this trend in other collecting fields as well, such as sports cards. There's something about grading that is so appealing to people that they will spend many times what they would otherwise pay for a nice, non-graded item. Maybe it's about time we started getting our nice doubles professionally graded. ;D

Well folks, it seems this was a genuine transaction. The buyer left positive feedback. I looked a bit into his purchase history, and he's been regularly throwing money around in the 3,000-4,000 USD range for rare Nintendo items. Update: I just found out that the person who bought this Mickey Pano for $15,000 is the same person who bought NES Castlevania for $55,000. This person has also bought other vintage Nintendo products in the $30,000 to $50,000 range. Wow...

As far as I know, white sparkys all came with english instructions and leaflets. The battery packet was added later on, this game came with a green text on white battery packet as regular supercolor games. The seller probably got a white sparky and added everything else from another game.. Michael
