You know everyone wants one of these in there house, but the size of these games, and the tackiness of the table, I don't think it is very practicle. Imagine collecting these machines! Maybe if you run a vintage arcade store somewhere then I guess it is okay, but to store these game systems in your house it is just not practicle. Considering the prices on these games, it does not cost too much to buy one. You just got to make sure you can find a good game system near your house. If anyone of us wants one of these systems all you need to do is sell possibly 1 or 2 rare Game & Watch games and bingo, you got the money! I think I am going to stick to Playstation!(and Game & Watch games) -Matt

I have seen someone use an arcade machine similar to that shown by Jon as a coffee table. Isn't it a good idea?

Hi Liosheep and welcome to the forum If I had the space I'd deffinitely would want to get my hands on one of these classic arcade machines. That's the good thing with these table-tops, when not in use it makes an excellent coffee table. I'm sure most people who would come over to visit couldn't resist switching it on to have a game or two on a classic like space invaders. QJ

How dare you place coffee on my Nintendo table! You should be asshamed of your self! Now I have a ring burned into my table! Maybe using it as a table isnt such a great idea. It would be nice if I had a game roomn though. To bad I don't live in a Mansion!

QJ,
Nice to meet u here! Surely an arcade game would be a great attraction to friends. Space is, as you said, the main problem.
Btw, I have posted in Spinal's forum before (as lio). I forgot to say HI to everyone here. It's been a great while I haven't posted as I was too busy with my baby.
And thanks Michael for re-creating a gw forum again. Spinal's forum is deeply missed.

Thanks Lio. It's nice to be able to offer this service to our small community. Btw, does anybody know how spinal's doing ? Does he know we've created this board ? Michael P.S. Oh, yes, I totally forgot mentioning the excellent tehcan world cup - one of the best games I've ever played!

Michael,
I can imagine how much time and efforts you've put in to maintain this forum, which I really appreciate. I think most collectors are making good use of it, whether or not if they join in the discussion
I hope someone would know Spinal's whereabout. He seems to disappear suddenly.

Hi Lio!! How's your son doing?? Maybe you can upload that eccelent picture of him to this forum aswell? I mean the one where he's wearing that great tiger (from The Pooh) outfit. Peter (Spinal) disappeared into nothing! He doesn't answer e-mails and I checked his e-bay identity (spinal64) and he didn't buy anything since july 2003. I hope nothing serious is wrong. I guess he "just" has money problems. I hope that's all. sAner

Hi Hi Hi, sAner!!! Long time no see ;D How are you doing? My son is 10 months old now He's in my eye hyperactive and has too big an appetite! He's gaining mobility rapidly and my collection will soon be threatened. As I recall in another thread, kid is listed as one of the possible damage to GWs!!! I did try to put up a recent photo of him but it seems that i can't upload a picture from my harddrive. Maybe Michael can advise how to. For Spinal, I hope if he ever browses this forum, he would drop us a line to let us all know he's fine.

Lio, there's no way to directly upload images to this forum. You have to upload it elsewhere and then add the link here.
