Hmmmmm I think I'll give it a miss as the shipping cost could be a little too high for me to get it here.

Strangely enough I've actually though about getting something like this (Only from here in the UK mind you!),I was actually thinking about finding a cheap C-ocktail Table Donkey Kong or something- one of the ones you sit down either side and play. The only problem is that I haven't really got anywhere to put it.It would be quite fun to have one as a project, however I seriously doubt my girlfriend would agree- she'd end up doing my bloody head in! Anyway, maybe one day!

I always fancied the idea of having coin-ops in my house when I was younger but then I didn't have the money. Now that I can find the money, I can't find any coin-ops.. And I don't have the room to place them.. Anyway, back then all the coin-op games had a magical glow which has faded away through the years.. Michael

I've noticed that 99% of arcade games including the Nintendo ones are located in the States and some of the big companies selling them have got the initial problem of shipping down to a fine art. It doesn't actually cost that much. They just stick them in a wooden crate. Three main problems still remain. The monitors/buttons tend to wear out and need expert maintenance. No-one has enough space to start collecting these and usually the other half will put their foot down on collecting these before you even get the first one !
I think I'm getting off the G&W theme a bit here but just had to get this out of my system as I've always wanted one.

I have a friend who purchased an old upright arcade unit which had been converted on the inside with a hardrive etc, From the outside the unit looks at a glance to be normal but when you turn it on you have got a list of about 600 original old arcade games at you fingure tips and they do fetch back some memories when you start playing them ;D

This arcade machine is really a computer running mame emulator in disguise. In my opinion there's no point in buying one like that. My computer will suit me fine ;D The feeling is totally different when you put a coin in the slot and wait for the game to begin.. Michael

I'd really love to own a couple of pinball machines, but they're reeeeeally expensive. Maybe when I win the lottery...........

yes I'm not too keen on the Mame units either. Having a rusty useable coin slot, flickering monitor and cigarette burns on the control panel all help to bring those memories back.

Out of all the games I've played in the arcades when I was young I would very much like to own a wonderboy in monsterland, or a Flying shark or a Ms pacman machine. I've spent the most on these games.. Michael
