The only strange about it is that someone wants to make money out of it! ;D

Yes there is a box with this auction but it appears to be in extremely poor condition.

Monkeygreen, I've seen this exact same item listed on e-bay about 3 a 4 months ago! It didn't sell then .... obviously! The seller relisted the item now, for the same price! sAner

Although this game / item (as such) doesn't hold any interest to me whatsoever! I do have an interest in those instructions.I have asked for further pictures to these to which I was kindly obliged with.Although they are also in very poor condition, they do contain some interesting information which I have never seen in any other G&W Instruction Manuals. They contain information on Ball / Flagman / Vermin & Fire. This must be a very early release as I can only imagine that Judge wasn't even on the drawing board yet- Quite unusual! If I was still collecting as such,I would have liked to pick up this item if it was cheap enough for the instructions alone.I would have sold off the rest.Am I the only sad sod that is interested in these sort of things? Hmm

Oh no that's not what I mean't Michael.I was just stating that I found them interesting.I've never seen one like that before.I can't imagine that there are too many of those around. I won't be spending any money for a while (I hope),as I've just bought a car and a new TV / home cinema system. That's pretty much eaten the money I got from selling off my collection. So although I wouldn't mind starting up again,I won't be doing so out of principle as I'd lost quite a bit on selling them (when you take into account all the P&P / eBay fees / Customs & Excise etc etc that I've had to previously pay).I mean what's the point of selling my collection for a loss, just to go and buy another collection and incur more fees!? Ah we'll see,I'll be a lot more choosy as to what I do and don't buy next time anyway.I couldn't give **** about Squish / Safe Buster etc etc.. So I'll be a lot more specific.Ah who knows what I'll do in the future!

You know most games get boring after awhile, but personally I have never played Safebuster. I guess if you have 60 different games to play, you can rotate games. It won't be as boring if you have a variety of games. -Matt

While you are on the subject of boring G&W, my personal favourite is Lion. This game is both impossible and has no variety what :Dso ever. Still its nice to have one MIMB and that's all.
Anyone else ?

... and what about the micro vs systems?? I have all three but I really seriously don't like playing the games AT ALL. The more common and cheaper games are (Donkey Kong 1, 2, jr. Mario Bros multiscreen, etc.) the more fun they are. This is of course very logical; also in the old days people liked those common games better, thus they were sold in bigger numbers, thus more remained until today, thus they are cheaper today. The other way around: just take a look at one of the most boring games around: Flagman. Everyone agreed in 1980 that this game was boooooooring, they stopped selling it and that way it became extremely rare and expensive. On the other hand; one of my favourite games is Snoopy pano and most collectors seem to disagree with me on that matter. You can't argue about taste! sAner

I don't know why everybody gives Mr Bumble Bee Flagman such a hard time! I actually quite like this game,it was one of the very few games I actually played for my own amusement. And what I also found very interesting is that 'Game A' & 'Game B' were not alike at all- 2 games for the price of 1! All in all when my collection was in full flow,I had about 48 different titles, but I must confess that most of these were only turned on to see that they worked- most of them were mever actually played with so my view as to what is good and what isn't is fairly limited.I did find that Balloon Fight bored me to tears though.Even just testing it to make sure the buttons worked was enough to dry me up- the batteries came straight back out that one! Probably my favourite game was Chef or Zelda. But as sAner says- it all comes down to each and their own.

I LOVE (really) those Nintendo Game & Watch but I regularly say that Bandai or Epoch, etc.. made more interesting games with richest gameplay and scenarios. There are a lot of games with 2-3 scenes or more action which make the game more addictive. Some examples, Bandai series : Solar power, both series, simple and double panel, LSI Push Up, Triple Vision, 3 in 1, etc... Epoch : LCD Digit Com Super Wide, the BIG double hander games or the Multigame-7 Tomy : the great Multicolor laser 6000 series ! Etc... They were all rivals of Nintendo of course and I think they were often better. Even their box-art were really more enjoyable. ;D
