Hi! This has recently happened to me, just asking what you would do in this situation.. Well basicilly i bought a loose Oil Panic complete, in really good order for $20AU. I wanted registered postage but the seller doesn't know how to do it..I told him how, and now a week later, I havent heard a reply. From the time i won the item, to now, he has received 2 negatives from different people against his name from people who have paid the seller, and have not received the goods. As he only has a little rating, one fifth of which are negatives now, I am contemplating whether to complete the sale or not. What do you guys think?
Looking forward to all your replys.. Innocent_foxterrier2000

It would depend on a few things;
-how bad do you want the Oil Panic (if you want it real bad, you should take some risk) -will the seller eventually respond to your mail (if not than I would for sure NOT complete the sale) -how much money we are talking about -do you want to run the risk that the seller gives you negative feedback if you don't complete the deal?
Good luck!

Well, the two negatives isn't a positive thing. ;D The "I don't know how to send registered mail" isn't good either because that implies an unwillingness to complete the deal. The only thing he should have done is ask at the local post office - not too much trouble I'd say. You should email him again. If you receive no reply, abandon the auction. You can do nothing but to complain to Ebay after that. Since he already has two negatives, I suspect your complaint will result in suspension of his account. If you receive a reply, then it's up to you. Depends on whether you think you should take the risk or not. I would highly recommend paying him using a credit card (or a payment system that can accept one) to assure that you can take some action in case anything goes wrong. Michael

The staff at the post office will be able to help the seller with registered post so he shouldn't have a problem there.
If you decide not to proceed with the sale you must be prepared to possibly receive a negative from the seller and an NPB warning from ebay.
