So, does anyone know any secrets to making the responsiveness of buttons back to practically brand new?
I've seen and heard people say that cleaning the terminals and back of the buttons with rubbing alcohol helps. I tried that with a game and it didn't work out the best. I ended up sanding the back of the black pads on fine grit sandpaper to get it to respond decently again, but there's times in a blue moon where it doesn't register me pressing the button.
I've heard that membrane buttons have graphite on the back of them. I did see shiny pencil like substance on the back of one of the buttons of my games. Anyone ever try the so called soft lead pencil trick? Any other tricks?

I just use a dry cotton bud, no added liquid solutions and it's always made the buttons back to brand new responsiveness... I rub the pcb and the back of the buttons but the pcb is the most important part in my experience.

My bombsweeper was acting up but I did it gently. It was acting up again but slowly as I played it more and more it kinda broke in the buttons and it seems to be doing better.
I just miss being able to speed through the mazes lightning fast without concentrating on the buttons. Basically having to make sure I press down on it hard enough for it to register a button press.
