Hi! i'm a new user! I bought some g&w from Ash888 and he suggested me to ask help to you! I found, in a lot of game&watch, a Donkey Kong Circus Panorama Screen that seems to be monochromatic... i tried to open the game and i found that the game was unopened before... The game is fully working and in very good state (no yellowing, no scratch)... There are no stains or shadow on the screen and the color is plain. I asked to the seller and he told me that he remember that the game never had color... What do you think about that? i tried to clean the contacts but nothing changed.

Hi rodeg, Welcome to the forum. That's a very interesting looking "spooky" version of DK Circus. I've seen color fade issues on a lot of G&W, but never anything like this on a Panorama game. My guess is factory error with a defective color lens, or some sort of fading due to heat or other temperature related issues. Anyone else seen this before? Ash

It's not faded, it seems to be missing the color layer. Just like a regular G&W game, has a layer for the background graphics, the tabletop and panorama's uses one for the colors. When I did some restoration on my Donkey Kong JR tabletop, I removed that layer, and it looked just like your screenshot, it became B&W. Guess someone forgot to add it when it was assembled in the factory.

This is the color piece from my spare Donkey Kong JR. The game needs a filter like this to give the game color.
