£ 180 = about € 270 = about $ 330 Releaseprice in the US = $150 = about € 120
Sounds like a rip off to me Paul... Even with shippingcosts and possible importcosts they'll be way cheaper than that if you import it yourself...
But if someone's dying to get one it looks like Paul's your man...
Kevin.

Just checked it out Kevin and it's worse, they want £189.99!!! So that is way over the price from the US. I've got a better idea, just found out that my sister-in-law is going to Boston USA on Thursday for 5 days. So I might get here to buy me one. If anyone wants her to get them one, let me know, I guess only 2 or 3 would be the limit. Regards, Paul p.s. And yes she will be on the lookout for some pocketsize games!!!!!! edit: did some searching on the net, a lot of places are sold out and people are selling them brand new for a premium, amazon have them from $227-$298 plus p&p!

I couldn't agree with you more Mike, I think of it this way! Think of the DS as Donkey Kong 2 G&W, think of the PSP as a Crystal Climber  I hope the DS repeats DK2's success!
I have a DS coming and the shipping said 4-7 days - today is day 5 so around 2 more days to go I hope, it comes with a Metroid game demo, pictochat of course and I already have in hand my copy of Mario DS (the only release game that catches my attention! Mind you Metroid, Animal Crossing, and Yoshi's touch and go do grab my fancy but are not release games)

There's no reason to be so hasty Paul because I'm sure that the price will drop very soon (especially as we near the christmas season).
I think Ebay offers so many options right now. Just browse and choose..
Btw, I like the way you can apply different skins on the console. Imagine if you could place a donkey kong g&w skin on it ? Or any other multi-screen game's skin for that matter ? Hey, if Nintendo released a game where you would be able to play different multi-screen games, using the screens like the multi-screens do it would be even more awesome!

Yeah it's a souped up modernised Mario 64 with multiplayer (wireless of course) etc etc! It ROCKS Look what the postie brought me today: Rumour has it that they are going to be £150 in the UK when they are released (in 3 to 6 months time) which is pretty poor news! They aren't cheap to import though - YOWCH on import tax!!! But at the end of the day it's so worth it My ONLY criticism is that the pointer/stylus thing is too small for my hands (yes I am a girl with small hands but I am also 6 foot so my hands aren't teeny tiny). I'd suggest picking up a pack of IPAQ styluses and using one of those most of the time and using the supplied ones only when you are on the move (and don't want the extra clutter). And yes if anyone wants one let me know - that one on the left (still sealed and not taken out) is going spare after I bought it for my boyfriend Mark for Christmas and he's bought himself one already I have a spare copy of Mario 64 DS too

It looks good and probably even looks better in real life. I have heard some complaints about the stylus being tiny, but that's a problem that can easily be overcome. G&W a couple of decades later... I like the idea of the touchscreen. I hope game developers will soon start to use it to its full potention, cause it has got some

I think the PSP is a better choice right now if you have the money. PS2-quality games, very big lcd screen, movies and mp3 playback and the memory stick slot makes it easy to add anything in the console.

Yeah, the graphics are unbelievable for such a small machine. It could use a better battery though..
