I think DS is really close (design-wise) to the old game&watch multi screens and due to this it might appeal more to collectors worldwide. Are you thinking of buying one ?
I don't have time to play with handhelds. I've bought a gameboy advance sp because I like its size and appearance. I think I'll buy the DS too but only when the price gets lower..

I might buy one but now price is way too much,
Have you seen the special "mario" release of the gameboy sp? Really nice

I tried one today.
The concept is the same but the actual game is lighter and..well the graphics are a billiontimes better, so you really don't get that g&w feel.
But still, it's a nice unit!

Well, my advance SP is the NES edition one. If you mean this one David, yes, it's very nice!
Paul are the graphics way better than the gameboy advance ?

To Mike: The nes edition is cool and comes in a cool box also but I mean there is a "Mario" edition now with a big M logo on it, the unit is red/grey and they also made a zelda edition now that is Gold, Maybe these consoles will be collector items in 2020
I hope Nintendo will get the idea to make a single gamecartridge with all multiplayer g&w on it for the ds, like the "g&w gallery" on the sp,

I like the idea of the DS and I will never say never, but I'm going to get the PSP first. It's something I'm really looking forward to.

PSP seems nice but it's bigger and I think it's more costly than the DS (console and games). I might get one though..
I think the DS is already out, is it not ? It's probably the most auctioned item in Ebay right now..

yes, it's already out in America I believe. It will only come out here first quarter next year I believe. We are always last and pay most.

interesting how it's released in USA before Japan? but the retail price from both countries are pretty much the same, around the US$150 mark. wonder how much we'll have to pay downunder....

I wish we had this kind of prices here (although I'm sure that Greece isn't more expensive than other countries in Europe). The DS should probably cost around the 200 euros mark..

There is a shop down the road from me selling them for £180, not sure if that's competitive or not?
