Heya people,
Can you help me out? I need a nice script to show my photos in a nice way on my website. I browsed the i-net, but the scripts I found were very dull or they used php and I don't want that. What do you use? Any suggestions?
Regards, sAner

Hi Mike, Well, the script has to show thumbnails of all my photos available on the site. If you click a thumbnail, a window has to open with the full sized picture and some information. It should be possible to leave that window open and browse to the next photo or the previous one or start a slideshow. That's about it! Paul? You mean Devster? I think he's using flash, so that's no option. Regards, sAner

Have you searched for javascript scripts Pieter ? Your only problem is the slideshow. Everything else can be done with simple html.

Okay, here I am again ... I need something like this: www.clikpic.com/Miles_Herbert//gallery.htmlI know this is professional built website, but is it possible to create something yourself ...? Or let me rephrase that: is it possible for something like me to create something which looks like this? sAner

Pieter, of course it's possible. If you're not sure how it works, copy this site's source and work on it until you can understand it. It's even possible in plain html but without the fast transitions between gallery images..

Hi Mike,
Most of these advance scripts work with a .class file to which the html source links. That .class file however is on their server and can't be copied ...

Pieter, I've saved the html source in my hard disk, and the html works fine when I'm offline, which means that it can be altered to suit your needs.. All I can see in the source is some javascript code, nothing else..
