Hi everyone! I was feeling quite bored and thought that it might be interesting to find out what is the overall favourite music of game and watch collectors
Personally I chose rock/ rock n roll. I mostly listen to bands from the 60s and 70s- The Beatles, Cream, The Who, The Kinks etc. Please give me your thoughts and comments! :-)

My music is mainly U2, depeche mode, simple minds (for the oldies) and actual music is more around placebo, linking park, and coldplay.

Rock n roll for me (even though I'm a classical musician by trade). mainly 60s and 70s Led Zep, Beach boys, Beatles (well, obviously), Bowie, Velvet Underground (classic but daft - especially the album with Nico), Captain Beefheart, Nick Drake.... enough? More recently? Pulp, The Smiths, Divine Comedy, Radiohead and I have a grudging respect for eminem (well, just the marshall mathers lp). and I really can't stand Elvis Costello - his voice winds me up SO much I felt moved to bother to write it here.... I like to relax by listening to Slayer.

I can't believe rock and roll is winning!! How old are you lot!!! - I bet you all like Bingo!!!
Give me some R 'n' B, Old skool Hip Hop and Electro any day!
I am able however to vary the music I listen to as well. House Music was cool, Dance music.
Take me back to 89!!!
Oasis, Stone Roses, Ian Brown.
Semisonic - You've got a 'secret smile'
The Verve
Dr Dre (used to be in The World Class Wrecking Crew and NWA)
The Prodigy -(Liam Howlett, what a tune maker) Fat of the Land - That'll get you going!
I even like Harry's Game by Clannad and words to that are gaelic!!!

Hmm.. I don't see an electronic/trance/house option there so I had to choose "other" although I listen to almost any type of music. I like 80s music but I listen to trance/electronic music from tiesto, armin van buuren, sasha mostly nowadays. I fance quite a few of the latest pop songs too!

I really like The Mars Volta at this moment. There are many different types of music I'm in to, depending on my mood. I also like : Muse, Beastie Boys, Fatboy Slim, Faithless, Metallica, Nirvana, ...

I would have to say 'POP' as that's the closest answer that describes my tastes. Of course, ones music collection can't be described by a single genre. My favourite artists are (in no particular order) The Pet Shop Boys The Human League Howard Jones Radiohead The Beach Boys Vangelis (Go Greece!) Jean-michel Jarre
Although, my favourite album of all time is by none of these artists, it's Hotel California by the Eagles. Every song on there is a classic. I strongly urge everyone to listen to it!! Perhaps we should do a 'favourite albums' thread?
I HATE RnB/Hip-hop/RAP/whatever it's called now WITH A PASSION!
Andy.
