The reason I added a counter in the board some weeks ago was mainly information about visitors since the board offers no real details about them. First volume of statistics are available and here they are:
Board members: 238 Total unique visits: 26202 Total topics: 1218 Total posts: 19313
(as of 3/10/2005)
Daily statistics - Average
Page Loads: 1104 Unique Visitors: 218 First Time Visitors: 138 Returning Visitors: 80
Daily statistics - Highest
Highest Page Loads: 1456 Highest Unique Visitors: 265 Highest First Time Visitors: 176 Highest Returning Visitors: 94
(Impressive for a board with only 200 something users!)
Visit Length - Daily
Less than 5 sec: 11,1% of visitors 5-30 sec: 33,3% 30 sec-5 mins: 11% 5-20 mins: 12% 20 mins-1 hour: 10% More than 1 hour: 22%
Visitor countries
UK: 39% Spain: 10% USA: 4% Netherlands: 2% Japan:2% Sweden: 2% Philippines: 2%
Others, Greece: 40%
(based on the latest pageloads)
Other
Resolution: 1024x768 80%, 1280x1024 20% OS: Windows XP 96%, Mac OS X 4% Browser: IE 6 50%, Opera 37%, Firefox 13%
Use of firewalls makes the process of gathering information about the site very difficult so above statistics are only an indication.

Cool info Mike, it's funny, bit there are loads of people in the market for buying and selling games, yet we only see a handfull on here in comparison.
Obviously people are using this as a reference centre, which is a good indication of a great site.
Mind you I made 79 of those 80 returning visits!!! ;D

I think we can see from the visit times and the number of unique visits that there must be a lot of visits from spiders. I can't imagine 200 odd unique REAL visitors each day.

That's true Andy, some of them are spiders but according to the url referrer and visitor IP statistics their visits are few and far between. I've added some special code in the board's html source which some spiders acknowledge but I'm sure some don't.
The number of unique visits is more or less what I expected because I have received a lot of emails about the board from people that still haven't registered here.
Innis, the statistics about the visitor countries are based on the tracker's log which is pretty small and can be upgraded to a big one if you're willing to pay, ahem, a small fee! So, statistics are only based on the latest visits and may not be entirely accurate.

Hi All,
Andy-I should have clarify what I mean-I didn't mean "Total posts: 19313" but should have wrote Total posts by a member: *for example, I have 284 and would like to know if there's a breakdown of Top Total posts in which I'm pretty sure would be Michael!
