Rene, No offence but it is REALLY sounding like it was you who made the offer. Always refering to the offerer as "a friend" is going to look sus. Now I won't have anyone badmouthing Jon! He has to be one of the nicest collectors on the board, Especially at this moment in time. You don't know that he won't keep it, and even if he does sell it he would probably be wanting to repair the game beforehand. This would count as restoration in my books. Aris, Get off the topic of the Mario PS already. It's gone on long enough. It's mine now; End of story. For the record, I've seen a MINIMUM of 5 times where you have made BIN offers for ridiculous prices... Just not all the sellers fell for it. Sheeeeez, Some people these days!!!

People, people, people ... What is this g&w- world coming to? Why don't we try to calm down, respect eachother like we used to do, don't immediately attack 'newcomers' for their different views and just live happily ever after?

LMAO. I didn't realise the game was broken. (until i read these posts, and checked back) I placed a bid assuming that it was fine and I thought I'd got a bit of a bargain..... How wrong I was! Rene - If you want to buy it off me for the price I paid for it, you're welcome chum. PM me and I'll tell you where to paypal the money to. EDIT: Otherwise, have a nice cup of tea and think what a beautiful world we live in.Laters guys. Wish I could write more, but am in an internet cafe with limited time. That's why I've not been in the forum this week. Same goes for next week too. Hey, at least I didn't try and buy the game from the seller for 30 pounds... Think on, and grow up (the whingers I mean).

Okay, everyone is entitled to say/write what he/she thinks, but I think we should -as of now- try and keep the tone of our voices down. Thank you!

For the record, I've seen a MINIMUM of 5 times where you have made BIN offers for ridiculous prices... Just not all the sellers fell for it. Sheeeeez, Some people these days!!! Pat, Rene, and anyone else for that matter, is free to say whatever they want, so long as it's not overly aggressive. So, unless I missed a post that included your name with Andy's and sAner's as running the show here, stop trying to tell other people what they can or can not do. And, in case you didn't notice, most people 'in the know' didn't bid on the PS MB because it was tainted, and unlike you, they have morals, and know right from wrong. I could have very easily made arrangements to bid on this item and win it, and just not pay for it, (like the seller did to me), but again, unlike the two of you, I realize that's not right, and didn't do it. Your agenda from the beginning is now clear to everyone. Perhaps you should take a few pointers from sAner, he was, and still is, desperate for a PS MB, but has enough decency to not stoop to the level you did to get it. Funny how the person who started this whole problem, YOU, wants everything to be hushed hushed now that you 'won' this item. Don't worry Patty, karma has a funny way of rearing its ugly head, and it wont always be in the form of car problems! BTW, I'm glad to see that you find me so intriguing, that you need to monitor how many times I offer a BIN price on items I may be interested in. However, I don't think you're quite getting them all. Let me know if you have a need to know EVERY time I do it, and I can assist you with that. Aris

The five times I saw you do it was just by looking at any item of value over the past few months, Not by tracking your progress. It's funny how often it has your request for a BIN in the little Q and A section.
You would never have bid on the Mario if it was a standard auction, You pay market value for a game? Haha, It is to laugh.
I don't even WANT to be in charge of this forum. You aren't Admin either, So it sounds like a case of the pot calling the kettle black. I have the guts to stand up to you, and I'm not afraid to argue for as long as it takes. I'm not a quitter.

I think most of us have had enough of the MB subject now. What's done is done. If you are just going to fight each other, why don't you do it via PM? Andy.

I am merely defending myself from his accusations. I do however agree with Andy; If anyone has a problem contact me through PM instead of creating more havoc.

:juggler: :juggler: I think most of us have had enough of the MB subject now. What's done is done. If you are just going to fight each other, why don't you do it via PM? Andy. AC, After this post, I will have nothing more to say on this subject. Everything that has happened, has already come out, and those who were following it, know the truth. Ironically, like Fox claims he was doing, I was only defending myself against HIS accusations as well as those from other members in this forum. Remember, I hadn't posted here for the longest time until Pat posted his "inform seller at will" email, and others started to badmouth me, and selectively stick their nose in my business. And for the record, the DKII blister pack that I flipped for profit, was already listed with a BIN by the seller, so, the ONLY time I ever had a BIN added to an item that I won and then sold for a profit was the blister pack MCF that Indy won off me. Once! That's it!! Talk to those that were accusing me of 'tricking' the seller, and having a history of doing this, and they would have you believe I've been doing this for a living or something. I have no desire to PM Pat, Fox_game, X-quizit, bouncingpuppies or whatever other aliases he uses. However, he's free to PM me with an apology for his uncalled-for actions and accusations, whenever his morals get the better of him. But I wont be holding my breath. AC out

i dont really want to be involved in this discussion, all i want to say is that reselling is not wrong, i have done it aswell as many members of this forum also, there is no shame in it, if i win an auction fair and square for a good price and i think i can make a profit then i will sell the item again just like a lot of you here would i am sure What i personally wont do is contact a seller and ask for a low BIN on an item when i know its worth a lot more!, i will admit i have contacted sellers a couple of times in the past and asked for a BIN but i will offer the amount i think the item is worth, it usually cos i am impatient and i want the item quick as opposed to me wanting to get a great deal, Im not saying its right or wrong, im just saying i wouldn't do it
By the way here is a part from a thread 2 years ago, its funny how some people opinions change over time, perhaps as prices go up? -
mpanayiotakis -
I haven't dealt with earthtrades either but I've seen him bidding in g&w auctions. I don't think we should criticize him for his action. As I wrote in another post, I don't mind people who try to get items making deals outside Ebay. It's up to the seller to judge if he should do it or not and one can do whatever he likes with his items..
Michael
wwfcgoober -
I have no problem with earthtrades asking to deal outside ebay.
If the seller is willing to accept the offer then so be it. It really doesn't worry me at all.
sAner -
I agree! If the seller agrees on an outside deal and ends the auction early, then blame the seller.
Fox -
Yeh, I agree with all of you, If a seller is stupid enough to accept an offer from someone early at a low price, when the item may go for double, possibly more, when on eBay or some other auction site, let them do it! Though the buyer should be careful that the seller doesn't just pocket your money and not send your item..

Peace!

Good find Richard! As you can see I never changed my mind in two whole years. I may be quite a black & white person, but when it's black it stays black. Same goes for white.

Richard, Thanks for posting your 'find', it's actually quite revealing, and as a matter of fact, says it all! ;D Your honest words regarding your view of BINing and reselling are not only refreshing, but also, much appreciated - Thanks! sAner, you the man! AC
