The cheapest G&W I've ever bought on Ebay cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4128024362The description means "not played very often, in new condition with box" I received the game today: Box is in excellent shape (c9) Game is mint with protection plastic on the metal plate and plastic bag. There is also french instruction, french caution slip and baby stickers (the french blue ones). What a bargain (even the shipping costs are very cheap).

Is there actually something wrong with it? The photos look very odd.

No serial and wrong b/c is enough "wrong" for me. A game without the serial is in my eyes worth exactly zero euros.

ahh well that all depends, a good serialed bottom can always be pulled from a non working / stuffed game. If they pay that much or less again for a stuffed one, then it's still cheap for a complete DK C.

So how do you exactly do that? I never tried to switch backs of games as you will have to kill the sound of the good game (which doesn't have a serial) as the wires are attached to the back. And then you have to make it work again: DIFFICULT. Don't tell me you just peel off the serial stickers and glue them on the back of the working game !!!!! sAner

De-soldering the speaker is quite easy. It's actually very very easy to swap a back on just about any game, all you have to do is de-solder the wires from the speakers, swap the good back with serial to working game, re-solder wires back onto speaker and your done. A cheap soldering iron will probably set you back 15US, and is a good investment from any games collector. :-D
I've fixed many a loose connection with mine. I recently purchased a loose SMB crystal screen, it had a loose dry solider joint to the speaker causing it to work intermitantly. A quick re-soilder and I've truned a 150 purchase into a 300 purchase. :-D
If your not to good with electronics then you can always find some nerdy type electronics geek to fix it.
;D (P.S I'm a nerdy electronics type geek)
