I hate to tell you guys, but the percentage of users on this forum is very small in the overall G&W market, maybe only a few percent, if that. All your going to do by boycotting the user is allow another user to get the item, and possibly cheaper.
I personally think we need to start a dodgy ebay usage list, maybe somthing like:
User, item / issue, date, etc
Then we can keep an eye on them, I also think that goes for people who involve themselves by bidding on dodgy items.

We can't track private deals though so we won't be able to keep a tab on the item constantly..

I can't really believe this guy, after so many emails and reports to Ebay he decided to list a similar item! My bet is that he has created lots of these boxes - only way this can be profitable.
I emailed Nintendo's piracy division today. I hope they act soon.

This isn't too good as you know someone is going to pass them off as original at some point.
They will be spotted, but I guess someone will be having a row or two when they recieve these in the post.

Michael Let's hope they do something about it at all, otherwise there might be more people who gets the idea of reproducing other rare boxes and be selling them on ebay. Maybe rudewheels already have other's planned too!? :eek2: Funny what people can do once they sold out the real stock!! Ill bet she wouldn't be so happy if it happened while she still had plenty real ones left!!

Yes, the thing is you can't trush him/her (I never believed it was a she, it's probably a family business) in any way now. All items he's selling might be reproductions..

With a foam it is making the fake box more and more like an original though. Next up will be the paperwork

I think he used the foam so that the box looks sturdy.

$47.63 for a fake box? Wow. Just wow. What kind person would even bid on that? I'm also thinking that if the wrong person wins it, they will resell it and pass it off as the real thing.

Well, this is exactly why we're concernced about this. In my opinion someone who collects these items for some years would know the difference between a reproduction box and an authentic one but there's a possibility of a future scam here.
Btw, I'm not sure I've welcomed you before so welcome aboard Liam!
