Well, I remember that I joined Spinal's forum some months later so it wasn't until the end of that year that I met some of you.. I remember when I joined the forum, lots of people were talking about me, lol!

I remember that too, Mike. You bought two DKC panos at the same time on e-bay and we didn't even know your name. I remember the thread about that event was instantly on fire and then you joined in ... O, memories, memories! What a great time it was. sAner

I think I started collecting beforte 1998. I don't know the exact date as I only really started recording my purchases later in about 99. The only forum back then was gameandwatch.com, and even that site wasn't complete. There were loads of photos and game reviews missing. I provided a few. Them were the days.....when I could go out and almost guarantee finding a G&W at a car boot sale for next to nothing, exch weekend Andy.

I started collection videogames 1998. But my G&W collecting started 1999/2000.

So Markus you're one of the oldest collectors around here. The oldest ones must be Taki, Torsten and Andreas I think though.

I don't feel old school at all, but since I started my G&W collection in august 2002 I'm obviously as old school as many of the regulars. Then again, I'm still only up to 24/30 (half way there!) so I'm not really a hardcore collector. Many seem to complete atleast the "original" 59 (even if not all boxed) within the first year, but at my pace it'll be more like 10 years... If ever...

From what I've seen, it's best this way Markus. Most collectors complete their collection fast and soon after that they feel that there's nothing left to be done and lose interest. They usually sell their collection a few months after that.
