Don't you just hate it when people do the following to their games:- ...the box won't fit on the shelf so I think I'll cut it to size ...it's never going to become a collector's item anyway... ...I wonder how many pen mark holes I can fit into this foam?

These pictures are really interesting! Anything could happen to these games if one does not foresee that they would one day become collector item. This happened to me before. I owned a Gold Manhole as a teenager and I have kept the game and box in very good condition for many years. A few years ago, I threw away the box and foam and kept the game only when tidying up my house. You know how much I regret my action when I started to collect the other games, and found out that the box could actually sell for a fortune.
