Click hereExterminator bought as a hidden item and sold as 'game & watch' along with a toss-up. The thing is, the seller lost approximately £50.00 as the resales attracted less bids than the hidden auctions! A theory I have is that people see a hidden game and get so excited at finding a bargain that they get carried away with the bidding! I think flagman is the only one of the 4 mego games with any real value loose now. Even that is worth thees than $200 on average. Andy.

Reselling stuff isn't easy and you have to know a lot of things about the items before doing it. Most people think they can make money fast but let's face it, it has been proven again and again that that's impossible with game&watch items.
Hidden auctions may attract high bids but only from non-collectors or inexperienced ones, I think.

Hi All, Well, he paid 99.01 GBP for Exterminator (2.00 S&H unless he wanted other shipping options) and sold the game for 69.83 GBP (probably cost about 10 GBP after insertion/commission/paypal? fees after the resell!) so it's more like a loss of around 20 GBP!! He should have offered the item to me or Jon as we were the 2nd/3rd highest bidder of the original auction He paid 52.00 GBP for Toss-Up and sold for 45.00 GBP so he lost over 10 GBP after insertion/commission/paypal fees BTW, I think the Flagman + manual that I picked up from the same seller that sold these games to him was at an ok price @gbp 108.23 (Reserve met) (Approximately US $190.91): cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50221&item=8214152633as LOOSE Flagman goes for around $150 ish and the manual is hard to come by! (A Boxed one is certainly out of my budget for quite a while unless it's hidden/cheap ) Kevin BTW: He tried to sell Toss-Up and Exterminator at a higher price as follows before: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50221&item=8217293433with BIN! of 120.00 GBP and with BIN! of 180.00 GBP cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50221&item=8217313541

Yeah, I couldn't be bothered, everyone here knows how to look at a bidders previous buys, don't they?! You're wrong on the Value Kevin, I'll work it out exactly.... Bought toss up for 52.00 Bought exterminator for 97.01 add 2.00 postage total 151.01 pounds sold toss up for 45.00 sold exterminator for 69.83 total 114.83 take off approx a fiver in fees leaves him 109.83. I make that a loss of 41.18 pounds. Ouch! Those 2 games were overpriced when he re-sold them, and WAY overpriced when he bought them! Andy.

Don't forget Paypal fees Andy! (And the original insertion fees for the two 'buy it now' auctions) - It would leave him a loss of very close to 50 quid!
