Check out Mikedotbe's FABULOUS auction cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5223121498&category=113288&rd=1I can't remember this being mentioned before, so, to satisfy Brendan's thirst for G&W knowledge (read "something to do whilst at work" ) I thought I'd mention that this is the first time I've noticed that this JI21 game has a "serial-like" sticker on the back rather that the imprinted game info as "standard" G&Ws have. I guess that (and it may have been more than obvious to most) they simply removed the "game info" stamp that normally presents itself on the reverse side of the games. This would also explain why we saw the DK with the upside-down info on the back. I think Oliver was the owner of that one... pulse8

that Greenhouse is not the only one that i have with a serial like sticker... see www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=85778 for more pictures. but after some research on the JI21 games, i have seen that they are not all the same... some games come with JI21 leaflet, some other with fold out piece of paper, some games like popeye widescreen comes with the logo JI21 on the game (see torsten website for a picture).. .. could you be less evasive when saying "they simply removed the "game info" stamp that normally presents itself" do you mean nintendo? if you are talking about them, i don't see why they would have remove a sticker? in addition that sticker is only present on games that have been sold in france , because of the law syaing that every object sold must be i french. that's why some sellers put the word "brevet en cours" i can't tell who sold me that game...i got that one for month... as i buyed a second one in better condition i just sell this one... and it's not a FABULOUS auction

Well, not only did I know about the milar sticker on the back of some french games, I used to own one, till I ebayed it. I think I also had a mario cement wide as well.
I suspect all the MS and Wides shared the same mould, and they just changed the plastic color and Model plate when switching to a new batch.... they obviously just placed a blank plate in :-)
It seems the Ji21 versions were the only mod'ed versions of games with most other distributors opting to just change paperwork etc.
