Hi all
I was just wondering if many of you have been given games for free, from friends or relatives, or even complete strangers? When I started collecting, I brought games in to work and displayed them on my desk, and also had a G&W wallpaper on my PC. People used to say 'Oh, I've got one of them' and I'd get them given to me! It's a good way of getting games for free or cheap. I've been given the following games for nothing: Loose pinball Loose Zelda Boxed Donkey Kong Jr Wide Boxed Goldcliff Boxed Donkey Kong 2 (Birthday present) Loose Rainshower (Birthday present) Loose mario's cement factory Boxed vermin - this was donated by a complete stranger who visited my website, e-mailed me and asked me if I wanted it!
Andy.

I also leave a word to all my friends or colleagues, but they all ask me where i got mine... when i said ebay or else, they always ask me for price...
I also have friend that got some from their childhood, but they will keep them as a "souvenir". The bad point is that before i told them about GW, they do not matter about GW...

I think can beat you all. ;D On July 20th 2004, 1.21 hours pm I was the first to reply to Devster's post on this Forum. In that post Devster promised to give a YM-901s away for free to the first one who would reply to his post. His exact words were: "The first person to reply to this post will receive a C7 (It might be a C8, not sure) YM901's Just the Yellow Box and the game, no paperwork mind, absolutely free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" --> I was that first one! So that was my real 100% g&w. My girlfriend gave me a boxed Pano DK jr. for my 29th birthday last September, she paid for it but I got it for free. I also once got a friends JR-55 Instruction booklet for free, he had already sold the games years before and had thrown away the box. Greets, sAner

Well, although I've asked about almost anybody I know and although I've left ads everywhere, I couldn't find a single item! The only item I've ever owned (dkjr new wide) was lost at school when I was young (well, stolen actually). A friend of mine owns the exact same item but he decided to keep it for sentimental reasons.. So, you can see that I wasn't so lucky at all..

Well, don't tell them you buy them from ebay or they'll know they're worth something! Tell them you buy them at fleamarkets for a couple of euro's. I guess I'm lust lucky then. (And sAner, of course!) Andy.
