Some pictures probably come out good on one's computer, but when inserting it into an auction the picture seems to get distorted. -Matt

I agree with Matt.
I have taken some crystal clear digital photos for a recent auction, but when uploaded to Ebay, they all become blurred.
Some pictures, however, are clearly bad not due to the uploading.

I think the quality of ones pictures depends on their digital cameras. All the pictures I have taken appear exactly the same as they do on ebay..

I have to agree with IFT2000. I have a pretty decent camera with 6 million megapixels and my photo's are always crystal clear, on my computer and also when inserted into an auction. I even often have to "half" the quality or the uploading to e-bay takes too long (I am a sucker with a dial-up connection) and still the photo's look great in e-bay.

Hello Pieter (et al.) I've finally learnt how to host my own pictures: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3068415358&category=50221&rd=1Bit of an improvement I think/hope you'll agree! Have also got to know about my digital camera as well which helps. I am getting fed up with my own computer "ignorance" though, and am in awe of anyone who understands Macromedia Flash/animated gifs or even how to change the background colour (and it IS ColoUr....) Now all I've got to work on is my crap descriptions! ;D

Hey Jon! Your pictures look very fine indeed! I am sure it'll attract a hell of a lot of bidders! I am also a complete idiot when it comes to computerstuff ... I am -as we speak- trying to build a "website". When I uploaded pics of the games I've got, I let you know the url. sAner

Oh that is a beauty! It's not too often I chuckle out loud, but this one got a little giggle from me!
Mind you I still agree that any photo (no matter how appalling) is still better than nothing. At least you know that they have the thing they're trying to sell.

I agree with Ross. I have never placed a bid in an auction without a photo.

Well having said that- I've only ever bought 2 games in the past without a photo, and I have to say that they both turned out quite nice.Lion inparticular! I bought a boxed version of this for £77 UK pounds- and it turned out to be nearly Brand New! Game / Instructions / Poly inner all Mint! Only the box had VERY minimal shelf wear.I took a gamble and it payed off.Mind you,I have to say that I'd be a little more cautious nowadays- I don't think I'd do it again!
