Kevin, do you have the links to the auctions with the black pictures (yes, they were totally black!) we discussed a while back in Spinal's forum ?
Michael
P.S. I hope Kevin registers here soon.

What's going on Pieter You dissin' my pictures bro? Either you made a mistake with the link you posted, or this is [glow=red,2,300]War![/glow] I am (generally) proud of the pictures I take, and can't see anything particularly wrong with my humble offering (above). OK it is a bit blue, so sue me! Perhaps you could enlighten me!!!! Hopefully it was just a joke/mistake ;D Let's see some really BAAAAD pictures. like this offering......... cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3058085424&category=50221

Jon, sorry mate but Pieter is right. Your pictures are not a bit blue, they're all blue! The box pictures are small and a bit fuzzy. You can't discern anything. The pictures in your auctions are usually very clear, something may have gone wrong in the editing process ? I know of such problems because in my auctions some pictures appear totally different from what they looked when viewed on my screen.Of course we've seen worse photos than this and in the link you posted, the picture is indeed fuzzy. But it's not that different from the ones in your auction.
We're not trying to intimidate you, and please don't take this as negative criticism. We're not just some strangers that want to laugh at you or something, we don't want to say "you should've known better" or something along these lines, we just want to point that sometimes things don't go as planned.
This is my opinion of course and I'm not talking on behalf of Pieter. Maybe he had something else in his mind.
Anyway, I think it's better if we leave remarks on photos in closed auctions in the future. I understand that some people may be influenced by this.
Michael
P.S. Please don't continue this thread along the "war" lines above. We can discuss this calmly.

Um, the comment about "war" was actually meant to be a joke - I was just enjoying using the "text color change" thingy. Really! Perhaps any comments about war are not appropriate in the current political climate! And at the risk of opening myself up for ridicule I really am surprised that you think those pictures were ropey. If you supersize them you can see exactly what was for sale (can't you). Maybe I should learn not to be quite so sensitive. It is important that you say if there IS a serious problem with the pictures because on my monitor they look fine, and I will be really pissed off if they appear strange to others. Anyhoo - Peace, Love and Good Kharma (sp?) to you all

Hahaha!! d**n!!! What a mess!! And all because of me. Hey all! It sounds unbelievable but I really made a mistake ... I didn't want to post the url to Jon's auction. I wanted to post the url to the pink lifeboat: cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3057157182&category=3591I copied and pasted the link to Jon's auction because my to watch-list was full. I tried to paste it in a word-document but ended up pasting it in this forum. Sorry! I agree with Michael though that your pictures are too blue Jon, but on the whole they are better than most of the pictures you see in other auctions. How come they are that blue? You say they look great on your monitor. What goes wrong then? I am sorry for all the confuzzlement! sAner Ps-I did understand you meant the word WAR as a joke! Pps-Michael; I do appreciate you stood up for me!

I'm glad you took my comments this way Jon. In my auctions I usually have problems with pictures containing a lot of red. I don't know why.. They always seem to be fine when I develop them.. Anyway, in my monitor your pictures are a bit fuzzy (supersized of course). The monitor is about 2 and a half years old now and I think it starts displaying everything with a lot more red colour than what it should so it might be my monitor's fault .. Sorry I misunderstood the "war" word. It had no smiley beside it. ;D Michael P.S. What I wrote was my personal opinion Pieter but thanks anyway..

That's true! At least you know the seller at least HAS the game in his possession, at least you can be a bit more sure ... sAner
