OK let's find out if "all our bidding" is the reason for these high Game&Watch prices. It was mentioned recently that we should give this a try, so dammit, I'm giving it a try! I've placed my high bid on this: cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5927830849&ssPageName=STRK:MEBI:ITSo let's see what happens when only "outside bidders" bid against me (note that bodderick had placed his bid before I started this thread). If anyone is dead against this sort of thing, or believes it will never prove or resolve anything, feel free to reply here or, better yet, BID AWAY! ;D COMMENTS ARE MORE THAN WELCOMED! Happy non-bidding! pulse8 P.S. For all those observant people who remember me saying that I wanted the next NIB Juggler , I forgot about the auction, OK?! ( <-- me) So I've decided to go with this one instead.

Well i think that putting a reservation on more than one item is quite... unusefull... or i could put a reservation on ALL BOXED GAMES from ebay that would be unfair [glow=purple,2,300]TheBoxedMike[/glow]

Hey guys, I like the idea of this thread and suggested this several times before... So I'm with it... Only, where do we draw the line between regular games and rare games ?? Anyway, good luck to anyone bidding !! Greets, Kevin. P.S. I'm with Mike on the "one game at a time" thing...

Guys, this can only happen if it's organized properly. Don't expect everyone to go along, especially if he's looking for an item like the ones you posted.
I have to say that, after giving it some thought, it's very difficult to find the proper formula to do it. Box and game condition varies a lot and considering that collectors are always looking to upgrade their collection, it's rather impossible to find a lot of people who would agree on something like this. You should also take in consideration that collectors always change their minds about the prices they want to pay and that some items are so rare that everybody wants them..
I suppose that you can do something like that for common games..

This is going to be really interesting... I personally agree with what Mike said, just posted for the heck of it. Actually I posted 4 games (URL) originally but modified it coz I don't see this really happening. Maybe on a loose game but not a rare loose game. What if I said no one should bid on this one?? cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2541&item=5926808102&rd=1I'm sure I'll get flamed alot maybe even kicked out of this forum....hehehehe  @slash if you want to bid on the pinball, sure, go ahead its not a problem with me. We can do what we always do and out bid someone. It's an auction site...we have to live with it  Regards, Mitch

Mitch, Obviously, requesting people not to bid on such an item as a NIB Toss-Up is outrageous. The same goes for any:- Boxed Pocketsize game Crystal (boxed or not) YM-901-S Boxed Tabletop Egg (boxed or not) Other rare games such as Mego, Mizuno, etc... and Most of the silvers (I think that the one I'm bidding on may be an exception, correct me if I'm wrong ) Golds I must say, one disadvantage of this is that any "spiteful" people out there may use this against you. If people know you're after an item, they may deliberatlely bid high to either win the item, or make you pay high. I guess it all comes down to the maximum bid you've placed. Food for thought, anyway... The other thing is that it may take quite a few of these "gestures" to find out if this will affect prices or not. We can only try, I guess... pulse8

Feel free to use the private forum if you need to arrange something like that. Only selected members have access there and it's one of the reasons I created in the first place..
