Has anyone got any G&W boxes to hand? I need to know exact dimensions of the boxes for each series. I've worked out some based on scans I've found but the 'Book' multi-screens are puzzling me. I'd really like to know these dimensions ASAP. If you don't have them within 2 hours of this post, then there is no need to reply, as I'll be home by then and I can measure them myself!

For my new website! :smile: I'm starting from scratch and my new site will have drawings of all the games as well as photos. I needed to know the dimensions so I could draw all the boxes to scale with each other.
It'll be live in a couple of weeks probably. :biggrin:

andy if you want to do something REALLY useful that no-one else has done, put the scans of G&W game booklets on your site IN PRINTOUT order . Theres only one site ive found scans of booklet pages on, and if you want to make a booklet yourself from the scans it takes a LONG time and does your head in completely...ie page 3 is next to page 13, etc. so when you make a booklet up it is all in the right order. Ideally you would pull the staples out of the booklet and scan each page that way so its perfect, naturally few want to do this and they just can the pages as its open but as youll soon learn, this doesnt quite work when you go to print it out and try to staple again...

Blackout, I don't intend to do that, but I don't see what the problem is, I've printed my own copies of instruction booklets loads of times, you just take each page as a separate scan instead of 2 at a time. Obviously it helps if you've got a DTP program to lay it all out properly with. I agree it takes a bit of working out to see what page goes next to what other page but it isn't that difficult. Andy.

I think what Blackout wants to do is take images from websites and print booklets for ones he has missing, not scan his own booklets. I can understand a slight difficulty working it out but it's easy when you know how, here's what I do: Say you have a 12 page booklet which is made up of 3 sheets stapled together; get a piece of scrap paper, cut it in 3 pieces. lay the 3 pieces on top of each other and fold over to make a booklet Write on each page: F..1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10..B (F=Front, B=Back :smile: ) Now separate your 3 pieces and you can see what pages to put together. Use a printing layout program to place your scans in the right order :biggrin:

As we've discussed in the past, printing copies of instructions is a no-no. There's no way to make sure that such booklets won't appear later as original in various auctions which will have a very bad impact in this community.
Andy, feel free to create another thread but no discussion about illegal subjects.
