Pieter, I don't feel like apologizing publicly for this but since you posted a question, here goes.. I want this item because the box is in better condition than mine and I need the sealed batteries too. My max bid was 62 euros and when I placed the order to bid the price was 30 euros (auction stealer). Anyway, I say this to everyone that can read it: whenever there's an item that you're interested in and I've placed a bid already, let me know and I will withdraw from further bidding. Please don't ask me to withdraw from bidding for items that I don't have or the condition of the ones I have is a lot worse than the auctioned item.. The expressed interest of Jon was the reason I didn't place a bid in the pocketsize dk2 auction (the box is slightly better than mine). Michael P.S. I only have one OEM super mario bros and it would be best if posts like this that don't involve anyone else in any way, are sent privately.. Thanks in advance!

Michael, Of course you don't need to apologize ... not publicly but also not privately! You have every right to bid on whatever auction you want! I wouldn't dare to ask you to withdraw yourself from an auction just because I also want to bid on a certain item. Why should you withdraw from ANY auction??? Just because you have 60/60 already? That's bullnuts. The fact I posted a thread about it was just to show you (and the others) how close our bids were/are. The sentence "that's not nice" was meant as a joke. That's why I placed a behind that sentence. I really thought it was you who outbid me on an OEM version of a super Mario Bros- auction a week or 2 ago ... hence; I thought you already had 2 of such games. Sorry for mixing things up! It's much like the "war" word in a thread from Jon's hand which caused a lot of confuzlement. He meant it as a joke and you took it serious. Maybe you're just a very serious person and we should take that into account when posting threads! <---- notice the smiley winking at you? This is meant ironically aswell! Anyway, my thread was not an accusation AT ALL! Really, it was not. The "tsk, tsk" in my subject should have rang a bell ... shouldn't it? It was meant as a joke and not as an accustation. I hope I managed to clear the clouds? Regards, sAner

Yeah, Pieter, I know what you meant. There's no problem at all! Since my collection has reached a point where I can wait until I find the right auction to bid, it's really no hassle to withdraw from bidding for any item you might want. I really mean it! I took your post as a chance to say this to anyone. My mood depends on a lot of things so sometimes I'm more serious than normal and sometimes I make jokes all day. Today was a "more serious than normal" day.. Michael
