Hi all. Just wondering if anyone that uses ebay much have noticed some strange bidders lurking around? Or is it just me that thinks a 0 feedback guy , who had won about 175 items in the last month haven´t got any feedback left? Good or bad for that matter. Hope you understand what I mean. I have been doing some investigation the past days. (I´m home sick from work, so where to be than on the bay??) ;D Any comments on this would be nice. Thats it for now. Bye all. /Swedengame

Were all 175 of the auctions he won from the same seller?

Oh "Swedengame",
I think you're talking about wolong2004 right? I've been trying to bid on some items yet s/he's been outbidding me a lot and there's NO feedback at all yet! ARRR....

According to a search I just did he has won 15 items so far. 4 of the sellers of these items are members of this forum (christoph_007, nintendognw, slash92io, swedengame).
So I guess we need to know if any of those 4 have heard from him yet.

It´s nice to see that i´m not alone with a suspicious mind. If they are not real buyers/bidders then they can take a hike They are just ruining the fun and the sport of collecting these precious items. Swedengame

IM MAD!! I almost won a lion for a good price today. But Noooo the seller think he is sooo smart and bidding on it with an obvious fake id. Screw him!! Sorry everybody, just needed to get it out. I am calm now, almost anyway! Bye for now

In this case you'll probably receive a second chance offer in case his fake id wins the auction. Btw, I never accept second chance offers for this reason.
What's the auction ?

Hi Michael. He has relisted the item, and I asked why? The answer he gave me was that the winner did not have paypal. And all this he had time to do in less than an hour. I got an offer to buy it, but it was higher than I should have won it for. I declined, I don´t want to have anything to do with low life people like him. No I won´t put out the auction number here, If you are really curious it shouldnt be to difficult to look it up. Btw.. Check this link out (off topic, but hey im writing now ;D) cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=akajiyajp2004&ssPageNameThere are some really nice gems there!! Maybe we should agree what to bid on and who... Then the prices wouldn´t be so d**n high in the end!! (Just kidding, the one with the biggest wallet always wins!! Or ) Just rambling on again... Nice thought tho. (Pardon the spelling errors, if there are any.) Bye Swedengame

Just some advice...
If you get a second chance offer because the highest bidder "pulls out" from the transacation, then inform the seller you will only buy it at the 'true' bid price, which assumes the highest bidder never bid which would mean your actual bid would of been lower (or just above the 3rd highest bid, rather than just under the top 'winning' bidder).

Too right Matt,
You should never agree to pay the price the NPB put up. Only pay £10 / $10 above the 3rd persons bid.
