I'm building my work's website. Of course, most of the work I'm doing on it is on my own PC, with a viewing size of 1280 x 1024!!!! Looked good on my screen, until my housemate (who is a web designer) reminded me that about 80% of businesses still use 800 x 600... I have some work to do pulse8 Hey Innis, I have tried 1280 * 1024 for a while too, but it made me kinda dizzy and I had the same problem like you; my website looked great on my monitor but when I viewed a my office (I use 1024 * 768 there), it didn't fit at all and looked horrible. I then changed back to 1024 * 768. Because you mentioned 1280 * 1024, I have switched back again a few mins ago and everything does look a lot better. I have also switched back to 800 * 600 for a while and browsed some sites .... YUK! Hi Mike, Of course with building my site with a resolution of 1024 * 768 I am missing out on all the people who are viewing in a lower resolution, but hey ... I can't please all people. If I would be THAT consequent I would also have to test my webiste in every browser that was ever made (ranging from browsers for mac's, Amiga's, peecees, etc.). sAner

Pieter, I'm talking about the board here. People, please take what I wrote in consideration next time you're about to show any photos. Anyone can do whatever they want with their sites but in a public board everyone is entitled to be able to see what any post is about (unless we decide to ban guests, that is).

At the end of the day, it's just a case of resizing the picture?
I take all my photo's at a high resolution for quality purposes, but they are too big for viewing under any circunstances, great if I want to print a large picture and retain the quality, but for viewing, nah.
Just get into photo editor and resize that sucker!

Michael Mike, I understood that but allmost all pictures that I use in this forum are also on my website. Hence; there's no difference. But then again: noone had problems viewing my posts and pics, did they? So what am I babbling about  sAner :rolleyecrazy: :juggler:

Thanks!! - WizBug www.geocities.com/gwfaqwww.geocities.com/gwfaqwww.geocities.com/gwfaqwww.geocities.com/gwfaqREAD IT! It's GREAT and Mike put some mighty hard work in that g&w bible! Anyway, to answer your question: No, safebuster, Goldcliff, Bombsweeper, etc. are the comon pocketsize games. It's the others that are rare and come with a different (much nicer) box. You guys and gals should really read Mike's superultrafantastic faq more often as it's all in there!! The rare pocketsizes are (and I copied this directly from Mike's faq and he even has pics of all games included! READ THE FAQ!): Pocketsize (released in USA and Canada) Parachute, Octopus, Popeye, Chef (?), Mickey Mouse Fire, TurtleBridge (?), Fire Attack (?), Snoopy Tennis, Donkey Kong Jr., Mario's Cement Factory, Manhole, Oil Panic, Donkey Kong, Mickey&Donald, Greenhouse, Donkey Kong 2, Pinball, Blackjack, Mario bros, Lifeboat & Rainshower. Mike writes: "Take note that it's unknown if a pocketsize version of Turtle Bridge ever existed and that later pocketsize games (Squish, Goldcliff, Bombsweeper, Safebuster, Zelda) aren't shown above because no other versions of these games ever existed." sAner
