Very smart move Paul and full respect. If it had come up on ebay, I think there would have been a mad bidding war between some of us and it would have fetched a much higher price than whatever you paid for it!
Just looked at the photo again - cor blimey

Cheers Josef,
Yeah that did cross my mind!!!
I think that you would have given me a battle without a doubt.
It's funny, at first I was very uncommitted to it. But then I decided it was something that I had to get (although not at all costs, I did negotiate, a bit!)
How much it cost me in the end became irrelevant, when I saw the pictures! Even if someone offered me double right now, I would say no. This beauty is staying with me forever, it's priceless in my eyes.

when i saw that price for a G&W, my guess was that someone had finally found a "reverse fire" like the one i played on when i was a kid...i cant wait for one to turn up so i can convince myself im not going mad! Blackout1230

Heya Paul, When I saw the first pics I was very surprised by the blue color. It's a great item for sure! In your detailed photos this item looks even better!!! I know what you paid for it and altough it's way beyond my wallet I still think it's worth it! sAner

Hey all, how have everyone been?
WOW...I checked out the link and was wondering what's so special about the MM Panorama LOOSE that Taki's selling and now I know it was a link for a BOXED Mego Flagman! That's pretty pricey yet I haven't seen one BOXED and esp. in this collection! A very nice find!! I don't think G&W prices will be as much as this for a while!
I haven't bought too much lately other than a LOOSE MTJ (W/O B/C) since I'm sort of collecting Popy Chogokin (Japanese robots) these days!

Hey Michael, Yeah, I still have my WHOLE collection and so much spares. I see that G&W prices have gone up quite a bit so I may sell some spares in the meanwhile! I've only spend slightly over $300 USD for 4 Japanese robots (11 in this series!) NMIB so it's similar to what I've spend on my (3) LOOSE MTJ's G&W YET I'm starting to spread to other robot collection so it will mostly force me into selling some (spare G&W) soon! Kevin
