Hi all, Just started so my collection is woefully small... 6 MIB multiscreens... However to keep the goal in sight and 'cause I had a bit of spare time I've made a new G&W site. Check it out if you get a mo and let me know what you think (or spot any errors...). Most of it you'll be familiar with - the collection of G&Ws, but I've added some desktop wallpapers and other bits. www.destination.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/GW60/GWHOME.htmlThanks –#nosmileys

Hi kidbaxi,
You have a very good looking and retro stylish site. Keep up collecting those little addictive fellows...

Thanks for the note Danny. Will keep at it... although it can get quite expensive pretty quickly! Only can imagine how much a full collection costs...
Are you close to the goal?
Cheers,

lovely website aporva, its nice with the pictures of the games displayed in the menu. What will it link to? More information, a picture of your game or dont you know yet? A nice start, curious how it will evolve. You got some computer skills and its a simple but beautiful layout. greetz, laurens

Cheers Laurens. Not sure I have great computer skills as you kindly say as it's super basic HTML, but it works well – and knowing a bit about design (what I do) helps too!
Yeah - I think linking to more in depth info might be the way to go on the games area. Maybe my collection as it grows, but that could take time...
I think I'll grow some of the other areas too with more wallpapers... not sure if anyone finds that useful? But it's a fun creative outlet.
I had planned to get MIB versions of the games however debating whether to get just the games... not really the same is it? I should stay true...
Anyway – thanks again –
Aporva

Hi all,
Again, many thanks for the notes on the site - mucho encouraging.
I've got some ideas for it that I'll be working on over the next few weeks. Namely to add more in depth information behind the games. So for example when you go into the game area to look a MultiScreens - if you click into one of those it will take you to a page with some good quality photos with general and collectors info about the game. ie. what should come in the box with the game, when it was made and any other interesting trivia I can dig up. (thx to you all for your great site's btw which have helped me get up to speed very quickly).
At this stage I'm up to 8 boxed (marked with a star on the site) so they'll be the ones that will go up first. As the collection grows I'll add more. If you do want to donate images / info please let me know and I'll make sure you are credited.
I'm also going to update the home page so you'll see if I've added anything when you get there.
Cheers, Aporva - kidbaxi -

Hi kidbaxi! Solid looking site you have there. Stylish and easy to navigate. Both things that make a good webpage. The most important part, content, is a bit lacking, but you have layed a good groundwork for that. I like it - krystaf

Nelson, you do this all the time! That's what personal messages are for! Do you know how annoying is to check threads for new messages and see messages like the one you posted ?
It's better if you use pm next time, not only for the reasons above but because every time you send a pm, an email is sent to the recipient to inform him of this.

Michael, How do I opt to get an email when I receive a PM? I've had many PMs, but never an email to tell me! This would be very helpful! pulse8 P.S. Michael, check your emails

Mike, I did leave a PM for him but some newcomers are not used to checking their inboxes.

It's ok guys. I've got Nelson's emails and just replied.
Been mad busy at work and a little obsessed with sorting a new home page and in-depth content for my GW60 site so haven't had a chance to get back to anyone.
In any case I do get notified if anyone puts a message on this thread or if I get a PM. I'll aim to get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks for the mails though + the warm welcome!
Best regards, Aporva (kidbaxi)

How do I opt to get an email when I receive a PM? I've had many PMs, but never an email to tell me! There's nothing you should do, it's done automatically. It's strange that you receive no notifications since I use a hotmail account too and never had any problems.. Perhaps you've defined the junk filter or other filters to block such messages ? Michael
