Just saw something weird on one of my spare Game & Watch games. On the back it says year 1983... Does anybody know if this is a misprint? I got one boxed but that one says 1982 like it should Hope somebody can explain this. Kind regards, Pirrup

It might be a DKII model number printed on the back of your DKI. Does the model number say JR-55? We've seen a few of those misprints come out of Europe. We'd love to see a photo.

Wow, pretty cool. I've never seen that error before. It has the actual model number with a 1983. We should put all the errors we find together in a single thread.

Ones that come to mind include:
Printing errors: - Octopus with no "o" in Nintendo on the back (just "Nintend") This is fairly common - Donkey Kong with model number info stamped upside down on the back! - Donkey Kong with DKII model number info on the back - Donkey Kong with 1983 on the back instead of 1982
Chip errors: - Green Judge "handicap" scoring error - Gold Manhole turbo mode - Helmet ghost mode - Parachute never miss mode - Parachute raining men mode
Let me know if you can think of any others! I know there are various photos of these on this forum, just scattered about.

One thing that comes to mind with Super Mario Bros is the "Get Starmen Anywhere Anytime" glitch I once read about on this board. However I can't replicate it because I have trouble summoning the Starman. Not you. This -->
