Hey guys I recently registered to this forum because, obviously, i'm a Game&Watch addicted and i recently started to collect them. I already have some and a couple are actually the ones i got when i was a kid...Recently i was lucky to get a loose EGG, in quite good conditions, with battery cover and serial nr. I know that it was the same exact game as Mickey Mouse, just renamed for Copyright issues...my question is: did it also share the same processor and scenary of Mickey Mouse? I'm asking cause I recently opened it to clean buttons contacts and i noticed that both the processor and the scenary layer are marked with "MC-25" ... Is it supposed to have an EG-26 sign or is it just right as it is? If anyone knows it or have an Egg to open and check, i'd really appreciate Thanks in advance Cheers!

Hi,
Welcome to the forum and collecting G&W...
Your Egg is correct, inside it's supposed to be the same MC-25 processor and the same scenery as mickey Mouse... only the LCD changed internally to show a wolf and the other changes.
Cheers,
Chris

Cheers, Chris That is very unusual that Nintendo would label the Egg chip MC-25 and not EG-26. Did you verify this with your own copy of Egg, Chris?

Guess they wanted to make as few changes as possible and the processor was the exact same one so why make a new rebadged batch? That was my take anyway. I can take mine apart tonight and take a pic... And double check my memory! Chris

Now that I think about it, the LCD would have to be redone, but I suppose the chip can be the same because all movements are the same. I also noticed that Green Judge has the Flagman polarizer instead of a Judge one. The Flagman model number (FL-02) is in the corner of the polarizer instead of (IP-05). Did you notice that? Might be the same for Purple Judge as well. I guess Nintendo was trying to save money any way they could back then. lol

I never noticed that in Judge on the polarizer... I guess it might not be all of them, just however many until they used the Flagman supplies up... now I'll have to go open up mine! cNp
